The cabin has potential to be great, unfortunately, the cheap linens, beds, and lack of cleanliness made our stay less than desirable. The beds were rock hard, linens paper thin, I had to go to the store and purchase cleaning products bc the toilets weren’t clean and kitchen counters were sticky. We were disappointed.
We stay at lots of short term vacation stays and this one was perfect. It was perfect for the kid and dog as it was modern and kept the cabin feel. We went in the winter and the steps and porch were pre salted for us. It has prefilled dispensers in the showers. Coffee and fixings in the kitchen for the coffee maker. Towels specifically for the hotub. They even provided a dog blanket to protect the beautiful leather couches from the dog we used their games and spent a lot of time outside. We were happy to have 4wd to get to the cabin but they did pave the drive each day. It doesn’t have a dishwasher or a w/d which is really no problem up there. They do have a toaster kurig pot coffee maker. And plenty of kitchen utensils. Absolutely booking again.

The cabin seems to be very new, is beautifully decorated in a “modern woodsy” theme. It had everything we needed with high quality things. The kitchen had basic spices, Mr coffee with filters. Note no DW or laundry. This cabin part of a horse camp and we talked with horse owners who had come her to enjoy the trails. A lovely respite.
This was the most beautiful and clean place we have stayed at. Everything looked brand new. Very modern yet still had that cabin feel. We had great privacy with only one other house on the road. The hot tub was great after a long hike. All our hikes and wineries we wanted to go to were less than a 30 min drive. Our large dogs were welcomed, which is great since many other rentals typically have a weight limit. The host was readily available via phone call to answer any questions. Can’t wait to be back next year!
We were very pleased with the location and privacy of this property. There are only 2 cabins on the road. The back deck opens on a open space then a line of trees, a creek, and then a wooded rise to the cabins on the next road over. They were barely visible to us. The cabin is spacious, inviting and the bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen is well equipped, with both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. We can't say enough about Cathy and Chuck the property managers. They were very responsive during our visit and certainly added to our overall impression of the property. We had such an amazing time, we have reserved it for our wedding anniversary this year. The best place we have stayed in Hocking Hills and one of our favorite VRBO's,
In short this place is brand new. It has everything you need for a stay. Key things to note we may have missed. There is a fire ring with wood provided. All utensils, toiletries,
basic spices were there. Coffee pot and Keurig. I do not have a negative to write about this property or area around it. Stay, and you will be pleased you did.
Loved our stay at cabin #9 The Edge. Upon arrival, the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Loved the comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, back porch with hot tub, grill, fire pit. There is a very large TV in the living room, electric fireplace and great ambient lighting. The internet was very speedy which was a plus! I loved driving through the horse camp to get to the cabin - it was so peaceful. Can't wait to book again!
Not sure but we felt like we were the first guests to stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was new and clean and very well stocked. The perfect getaway for us and our 2 small dogs.
