Bed and Biscuit Inn

Near Kingdom come park & Pine mtn.
This mountain home is located between Kingdom come state park and Pine mtn. Explore the beautiful mountains with breath taking views. Take a hike up to Bad branch falls or Little Shepherd trail while visiting. This pet themed house is set up for you and your fur family to enjoy. We provide crates, bowls and leashes for your dogs. The Inn is furnished with everything you need to feel like home. All of the bedrooms are located upstairs with doors accessing the parking lot. One bathroom is located downstairs and another one is located in the detached laundry house. I love the old, crooked, creaky floors and history of this house. (Keep in mind this old house has lots of steps both inside and out) it is a place that you can find comfort in bringing your fur family along for the adventure. History: I inherited the home from my parents who inherited it from my grand- parents. The top master bedroom use to be partridge post office, opened in 1940 by Madge Lewis. The original oil floors and the circles where the counter was found after pulling carpet up! My grandmother also put a little store in the top. She retired in 1974 and my dad, Bob Lewis built the store and post office next to the house. He ran the store up until he passed at the age of 87 then I inherited the property. I promised them that I would still keep it up so I decided to make it a short term rental.

Felt like I was “home.” Great location for our family. Enjoyed being able to cook and have family dinner at the dining room table. Beautiful view of mountains and skies.
We stayed here while visiting with Jeritage Ministry. Kim was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Our little dog was welcomed and there were all sorts of items to help him, and us, feel at home. We will definitely choose to stay here again when we return to tje area.
Perfect little place to hang with the pups and use as a base camp for lots of great hiking in the area.

I was born in partridge and left for college. My parents ran the post office and grocery store for 48 years. I grew up in this house and inherited it when my parents passed. I updated it while still keeping some of the old original charm.
Why they chose this property
I enjoy coming home to visit the mountains. I like to go up to the park and over looks. The only thing I don’t enjoy about the area is the numerous amount of dogs that are abandoned and live on a chain all their life.
What makes this property unique
My property is unique because it’s the only one around there that allows pets. I’ve been rescuing dogs my whole life from down there. I joked with my dad that I would turn the store building into a shelter. I have many pets and I know how nice it is to bring them on my trips. I just want to provide that for other people visiting the area.
