Discover this 170-acre Early American town featuring 18th-century English architecture restored to its original condition, historic museums, monuments and fascinating battlefields which tell the dramatic story of our country's birth.Peacefully situated amid 256 acres of rolling woodland hills, and boasting all the character of a distinguished manor house, The Historic Powhatan Resort captures the essence of its Colonial surroundings. Originally built circa 1735, this restored manor house offers a serene getaway during any season.With activities to entertain the entire family, The Historic Powhatan Resort offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis, an outdoor pavilion and a playground. Dine in The Powhatan Bar and Grille, or enjoy our new coffee house, The Historic Grounds.

2 bedroom condo has a king bed, queen bed or two twin beds, queen sleeper sofa, living room, full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and washer/dryer!

Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit.

Family vacation
My family (my wife, our three young daughters, and I) spent a week here while visiting historic sites with extended family. The condo was great! we loved the layout for our crew. The only things we would change are a few kitchen items (limited cooking utensils and no baking sheets that we saw) and the carpets seemed to be in need of a deep clean. However, overall it was the perfect place for us.

Williamsburg Retreat
This was a great “long weekend” getaway for my family. The property and amenities on the property were great! The location to shopping and activities in Williamsburg couldn’t have been better. This will definitely be a property that my family and friends will be back to!

Birthday trip
Our family enjoyed celebrating our daughter’s 13th birthday at the Powhatan and Busch Gardens! The property is so well kept and the amenities were enjoyed by all! We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay for our Colonial Williamsburg stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for our trip to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestowne, and Yorktown! This was a perfect and convenient location! It had plenty of space for me, my wife, and three girls. We were able to cook our dinners here and enjoyed the many many activities offered at the resort. The girls really enjoyed playing a round of mini golf. As history lovers, we enjoyed walking through the historic house on grounds. And as coffee lovers, we really enjoyed the little coffee shop on site too! Thank you for providing us with a perfect base for our historic triangle trip!

Pleasant resort space
Property as described. Clean, nice layout, private space/bathroom for each bedroom, nice common area. Host was especially communicative. The facility may try to sell you on a timeshare, but they won't try too hard. There are a lot of amenities at the facility, which we didn't use because we were spending most of our time with family. It's probably convenient to tourist activities as well. Groceries, etc are nearby. In April you will apparently see baby geese :)

Peaceful and lovely stay
We loved our stay at powhatan - was very impressed with the updates and the amenities. We had a bit of an issue with the toilet but it was promptly fixed. We loved using the pool, mini golf, and the children's playground. The restaurant was a bit dated but we enjoyed their thanksgiving lunch immensely. Looking forward to coming back again.

Scott was very informative & helpful through the booking process. Our unit was clean, and updated. The location is great if you’re planning to visit Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, or any of the zoos in the area. Would definitely book again.

Overall the resort was great there was everything to do for the family. The only complaint is that the unit needs to update on the washer and dryer because it is very loud machine.

Great place to stay in Williamsburg
Had a great stay at Powhatan with my family. The size of the unit was great and there was plenty of space for all of us. The resort grounds were excellent and the location very convenient. Overall a great time and would definitely return.
