5 star experience! Highly recommended!

Beautiful, updated historic home with views that are simply breathtaking! The moment you enter the exclusive gated community where the home is located, you know your stay will be something special. Shelly, the host, was outstanding! Her pre-arrival emails and information were very helpful. Very communicative and responsive. All guests were impressed with the high-quality furnishings, open floor plan, modern kitchen and roomy, comfortable bedrooms that provided modern convenance while preserving the historic nature and mid-century details that made our stay so unique and memorable. Near to a large variety of nice restaurants and notable Colorado Springs parks and trails. Would highly recommend! Would be a pleasure to stay at this luxurious, unforgettable home again.

A gem to behold

As soon as you drive into the neighborhood you can tell you are going to be staying in something better than nice. The gated community is full of beautiful homes each in their unique style. Not the cookie cutter developments you often see. The surrounding visual is spectacular. A daily morning walk taken in different directions exposes each parts beauty whether it be the full view of the Pikes peak or that of the area surrounding the golf course. The nature that you run across as you navigate will last in your minds forever and it is highly common to see deer within yards of you. The home itself is immaculate. A wide open kitchen and dinning area make for long hours of togetherness and enjoyment for all. The bedrooms are more than comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and very well appointed. The rear yard you can sit in for hours on end. The spectacle of the Rocky Mountain range of Pikes Peak makes you proud to be an American and behold its beauty. We all highly recommend this gem to anyone from anywhere. It will not disappoint. I give it a 10+

Colorado Springs & Grandkids

Beautiful home with an outstanding location and very clean. All instructions were well prepared and easy to follow. View of Pikes Peak is absolutely stunning in the morning. Home has a great history of the Hill family dating back to the early 50's. We had our 4 grandkids and visited several Colorado Springs sites as well as a couple of great restaurants. Would definitely love to stay in this home again when we come back to Colorado Springs.

Hi, I'm Shelly. My family traded California waves for Colorado mountains. I have fallen in love with Colorado Springs & secretly want to be a tour guide...there is just SO much goodness. I love hosting and love asking, "What kind of trip do you need this to be?" to my house guests. Some come for adventure & others need a retreat. In my own life, I've found both in this city and love to help point others to experiences they will enjoy!
I'm in love with Jesus. I enjoy: people, music, audio books…
