At the Little River Hideaway, relaxation is a way of life. As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the soothing sound of our little river. Relax on the back deck and watch wildlife, curl up on the couch while enjoying a warm beverage or soak in the hot tub.
Auburn is the Endurance Capital of the World and offers world-class hiking and biking trails nearby. The American River, Folsom Lake, Hidden Falls, Confluence, and Canyons are all within a short drive. Lake Tahoe is under 1 hour and Sacramento is 40 minutes away.
Our Hideaway is located on the Wine and Ale trail with 23 boutique wineries and 15 craft breweries. Old Town and Downtown Auburn are 5 minutes away and offer restaurants, artist galleries, shopping, street festivals and historic Gold Rush sites.
Our vintage home has vaulted ceilings, mid-century modern architecture and furnishings, a sunken bar, open concept living, expansive decking, a screened outdoor room, and incredible views. Indulge in the outdoors while enjoying the putting green, corn hole, disc golf, the hot tub, and the little river.
LRH is perfect for couples, family time, a getaway with friends, and retreats.

We've always loved properties on the water and when we found the Little River Hideaway, we knew it was very special. We have lived in the area for over 22 years and we're enjoying sharing this amazing sanctuary with new people. We're located close to town and we're on the wine/ale trail. Hiking, biking, skiing, and exploring the area are all close by. We're happy to help with suggestions or you can unwind, relax, and enjoy nature.
Why they chose this property
We never thought we'd find a house on a beautiful little river that's 5 minutes to town and the freeway. The location is convenient to everything yet it feels private and secluded.
What makes this property unique
You will not find another MCM home on the water, close to Old Town, Downtown, restaurants, shopping, outdoor sports/activities, that's also secluded and private. You can hear the river from every room and there's room to roam and take in the beautiful sights.
