This location served as an excellent escape. It is a beautiful spot surrounded by natural scenery, offering peace and tranquility. I particularly enjoyed the sauna, with the added surprise of a remarkable shower within the sauna itself.
It waz exactly as presented. Nothing fancy, but everything you need.saw the best show of northern lights we have ever seen. Sat up all night watching themWe loved the sauna. We alzo
Great little place. Cute and quaint. The sauna was a great addition. The weather was gorgeous but it brought out a ton of flies in the little cabin. Plan to heat up hot water on the wood stove, stove top, or bring from warm sauna for dishes ect. The stove top worked but the oven is not operational. Fit our needs perfect.

Basic survival
Stove barely kept us warm with putting alog in every hour all night long
Coming from another busy tourist area in the UP, kids didn’t have school for a couple of days so this is exactly what we wanted! A getaway from a bunch of people! The property was secluded as the listing says, our kids and dog could run around with no worries! The cabin did get a little chilly thru the night but it was manageable, just snuck into the sauna after the morning trip to the bathroom to warm up! There were also a couple of places close by to enjoy a meal, our favorite was the Loading Zone in Lake Linden! The property was super easy to get to and sat fairly close to everything we wanted to see! You also couldn’t beat the views driving down Gay road, the colors were beautiful!!!
This rustic secluded cabin had everything we needed, nothing we didn't, and one thing we needed but didn't know we did, and that was the sauna/shower! The wood was waiting for us for the sauna and firewood was easily found on the property for a beautiful campfire at night. Coming from down state, where there is too much light pollution, it was amazing seeing the bajillions of stars in the heavens at night. This location was an easy drive to anywhere we wanted to go in the Peninsula, and a bit beyond. We highly recommend this little slice of heaven if you just want to unwind and enjoy the best life has to offer - peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. We loved our stay! The hosts were prompt to answer any questions we had and the cabin was clean. Definitely on our "do again" list. Thanks so much!!!
