---------------------
Magnolia Garden Cottage is half of a split-level property nestled in a neighborhood that is quintessentially "Seattle" and enjoys fully private access. There is one off-street parking spot and ample, free street parking if needed. The exterior light will be on to welcome you if arrival is after sundown.
Despite being a few blocks inland and surrounded by residential streets, when the wind is just right you can smell the salt water of the Puget Sound and there are often seagulls wheeling overhead.
A short walk will find you at Fishermen’s Terminal where you can see the North Pacific Fishing Fleet when they are in port, stroll the docks, and enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants.
There are two coffee shops within walking distance (less than 2 blocks) if you’d like to grab a coffee and pastry to start your day.
There are a few options if you want to work out during your visit. Stop by the local climbing gym a 10-minute walk away, walk the many hills in the neighborhood, or drive to one of the nearby gyms in Magnolia Village or a gym in nearby Ballard.
The Elliott Bay Trail is also nearby if you’d like to take a trail to downtown Seattle. Additionally, there are convenient bus routes at the end of the block to take you to the University of Washington, Downtown Seattle, the Waterfront and the cruise ship terminal.
Ballard, Fremont and Discovery Park are also within a short drive.
Driveway:
The driveway is on a hill. Please use caution when parking and accessing the cottage.
Quiet Hours:
To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, we kindly ask guests to respect quiet hours, as sounds may travel next door. It ensures a serene environment for everyone's enjoyment.
