We had an incredibly frustrating experience with this property and this host. Upon arrival, the bath mats and sheets appeared dirty and the front gate to the property was broken/unlocked, meaning anyone from the street was able to access the property. Not to mention, the area the property is located in is unsafe. In fact, within 30 minutes of arriving to the property (which is on the first floor right by the broken gate), we heard/saw fireworks hitting our window from the street. Given the broken gate, we contacted the host, as we were concerned for our safety and also about the noise levels, as every single noise from the street could be heard within the property. The host was unresponsive and did not pick up our calls, and we ended up finding a different place to stay for the duration of our trip. Additionally, the property does not have doors between any of the rooms, essentially making it a 1 room/studio apartment with 2 cots, instead of the 2BR property it was advertised as. The lack of communication with the host was extremely concerning given we were experiencing real-time safety concerns and the property could be accessed by anyone due to the broken gate. Absolutely would not recommend staying here, and we were incredibly disappointed by our experience, especially considering how much we paid.
