The Downer House was built by Jack Downer in 1985 with help from his father and son.
Three generations of carpenters.
Jack and his wife Joyce shared many years here making beautiful memories with their children and grandchildren to whom they passed down a belief in strong family values.
Now their children continue the legacy of the traditional family atmosphere in the home away from home of " The Downer House"
You have a fully furnished Kitchen to enjoy "cooking at home" or have the choice of many fine restaurants throughout the Chattanooga Area.
You will have access to all the amenities of your own home without the "Hotel or Motel" feel of strangers one wall over.
This is a private Home offering the best in Family accommodations
Hardwood floors, clean living environment, no clutter
Two full bedrooms, Dressing room, two full bathrooms, a glassed-in back porch area with a futon to accommodate additional guests, full kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator, we offer a pack and play for a baby and board games for young at heart. Smart TVs are located in every room with full Wi Fi access.
We take pride in treating all our guests as family and friends.
The home is all on one level upon entering the house.
Enjoy the night air rocking on the front porch gazing at the stars and enjoying a beautiful view of Lookout Mtn.
