Beautiful location and wonderful cabin

We had a gathering of friends from across the country/world and it could not have been a better setting for us all. Plenty of places to relax and talk, many spots to enjoy the lake. Great communication with owners. Will hopefully have the opportunity to stay again!

Lake side getaway

My family and I booked this cabin for a 10 day stay. The lake being right out the door was huge for us as we have a toddler and closer the better! Paddle boarding was great, having the deck was amazing and the home was cozy! We loved everything about our stay hope to return again! The hosts had great communication and everything went smooth. Thank you for our stay and all the memories made!

Lovely Lake Front Home

A clean, well kept, organized home that makes efficient, interesting use of all its space. The yard and views are equally beautiful. The owner is accommodating and easy to communicate with. We have enjoyed renting this home.

wonderful vacation

We had a great vacation at this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for our large family. The grandchildren caught fish from the dock and spent hours on the lake. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

Wonderful Vacation

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lakefront log cabin! The setting was breathtaking, with serene views and peaceful surroundings that made it perfect for relaxation. Beachfront Log Home

This is a well loved, well kept lake home. It was very clean, extremely well organized, with all the amenities. The yard was lovely, too. It made for a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday. There was good communication with the owner.

Secluded Gem

First of all, the grounds were amazing. Owner was quick to respond to the few questions we had. I do think for the amount of people that can sleep on the property, another shower is needed. No complaints though since we knew the number of showers the house had when we booked. Also, nearest town (grocery store and gas station) is 20 - 25 minutes away. Again, we knew this when we reserved, so no complaints.

A beautiful Montana lake retreat

Our extended family had the most wonderful celebration at this cabin. The home itself is great and we loved the porch with all the bird feeders. It was dreamy to sit with some coffee and watch the birds. The private lakeside beach is beyond perfect. Our family had three kids that kloved to swim, kayak, and fish out on the dock. I’m also grateful that this property allowed dogs and our pup was able to join us on this special trip. I highly recommend this property for any vacation, a huge thank you to the owners for sharing it,

Fishing trip

We plan an annual ice fishing trip to Bull Lake. Once again Karen superceded all expectations. The house is always spotless and has everything you could possibly need. Easy check in and check out. Always available for any needs. One of my favorite VRBO's.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful

We have stayed at this property on two occasions, the latest being this August. It is ideal for large families ( we were twelve in number ) as there are four bedrooms are three bathrooms. It is exactly as described with no exaggerations in the description. The fishing was good and their are plenty of activities in the surrounding area. Already thinking of another trip in the near future.

Best Outfitted Stay

The Montana Cabin on Bull Lake is one of the best outfitted vacation homes my family have enjoyed staying at. The location on the lake is wonderful on its own and the property is immaculately groomed. However there are many bonus is the amenities. The canoes were top of our family’s list. They came complete with an assortment of life jackets and paddles in the downstairs screened in porch closet. Also inside the fun closet are other inflatable toys for younger kids and if you come without your fishing pole, there are some basic poles hanging from the ceiling of the porch. There are ample yard furnishings with many places to sit and ways to relax that fits your mood; lounging on the deck, relaxing in a hammock, or a couple sitting together in a lakeside swing chair. The campfire ring has a handy little table for s’mores staging. The location is the ideal place on the lake. If you are a power boat user, there is open access to the lake. If you are using the canoes, the marshes in the opposite direction are too shallow for the power boats so you get to cruise the waterways without bother (and the small mouth bass are plentiful there). The house is well furnished. The beds are comfortable, and the rental is ideal. We are already scheming about when we might return.

The Best

Effortless stay from beginning to end. Beautiful setting and any questions I had were answered immediately by the owner. Literally the only thing we had to bring was ourselves. The cabin was equipped with everything you need for a lake stay. The owner even helped us with setting up a dog walker while we were gone on a day trip to Glacier. Highly recommend this property!

I was born and raised in Libby, MT. My parents, Les and Shirley McKean, built this home. When they needed to move closer to town, we bought it in order to keep it in our family. Setting up the vacation rental is what makes it possible to keep it.

My husband Greg and I live in SE Alaska, own and operate a small company (Alaska Commercial Divers) and get to MT as often as possible. We have 3 grown children. Our Daughter is a realtor in NW Montana and our twin sons live in Eugene, OR and in Flagstaff, AZ. One is a Social Worker and the other a Professional Runner for Under Armour.
