Immerse yourself in the peaceful sounds of the sea in this designer Maine Cottage. "Oak Cottage" is 12 minutes to Acadia National Park and near Bar Harbor. This very private oceanfront home is located on over 8 wooded acres with views of the mountains of Acadia. 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher. Very large open areas for your group. Game room with ping pong table, air hockey, basketball, and board games. There are blackout blinds/curtains in each bedroom. Every bedroom with ocean views. 3 upstairs bedrooms with balcony access overlooking the ocean. Main level king room with exquisite sunroom with ocean view. Outdoor fire pit with adirondack chairs.

There are 4 outdoor cameras with audio outside the cottage located at the doorbell, the front (northeast) side of the home, the garage, and the backyard for safety/security measures.

There is a washer and dryer upstairs for your convenience. Please remove lint after each dryer use. There is laundry detergent above the washing machine in the closet.

There is a broom and dustpan and vacuum in the closet downstairs for your use.

There are extra blankets in each bedroom closet.

There is outdoor cornhole and bocce ball for your enjoyment in the closet on the main level.

There are smoke detectors and CO monitors throughout the house. There is a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher in the pantry in the kitchen.

There is a fold out table and folding chairs in the closet on the main level.

There is a path to the beach with steep incline and a rope. This path is to be used with caution and at your own risk. No other paths are to be used.

Beautiful Home, Ocean View and Ideal Location
This beautiful property was perfect for our two families with teens. The ocean view was amazing, game room kept the teens entertained all week, and the relatively short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia were ideal for a busy week. Can’t wait to stay here again!
