Nestled in Thornton Creek, our home offers direct access to 18 miles of urban creeks. Inspired by the large Seattle trees and babbling creek behind our home, our decor is unique, woodsy & natural in a restful, secluded setting. Modern comforts are blended with a mid-century modern vibe. Our light-filled home was just renovated and designed for modern living and offers spaces for relaxation, recreation, comfortable workspaces, and outdoor fun.

Communication is paramount to a comfortable stay. We try to anticipate any questions & needs that you may have but rest assured that you will have access to your host during business hours and as needed. A detailed guest book is provided both online and in print. Suggestions for activities, restaurants, parks, breweries, shopping, Farmer's markets, hikes & neighborhood activities will be enclosed.

The upscale Northgate Mall for shopping, dining, movie theater, and Kraken Ice Arena are only 1 mile away. Beaches, bike trails, and city parks are plentiful in the area. Our home is centrally located with easy access to I-5 while enjoying a peaceful urban retreat with tons of amenities.

Victory Heights is a quiet, upscale community bordering Thornton Creek. You can easily hike the Thornton Creek trail directly from our back yard, or, riding our bikes to Victory Park 2 blocks away for one of many activities our neighborhood puts on (Food Truck Fridays, Easter Egg Hunt, Chili Cook Off, etc) Take a stroll and visit one of the many little free libraries in our neighborhood or enjoy the walking path with your kids and dogs at Victory Park.

Keyless entry allows our guests to enter at their convenience. The access code will be provided 24 hours in advance of your arrival along with instructions on how to use the door lock.

Our light-filled modern home was just renovated and designed for modern living and offers spaces for relaxation, recreation, and professional workspaces while being family and pet friendly and nestled amidst Seattle’s lush greenery.

When you book, you'll have access to the upper unit of the home. While the backyard and its amenities are shared, you'll enjoy your own separate parking area and a distinct, private deck & BBQ area.

Thornton Creek has tons of amenities: keyless entry, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, spices, stainless steel appliances, and all of the utensils/appliances you need to make chef worthy meals! For your comfort, we have air conditioning, additional fans, full length mirrors, luggage racks, plenty of hangers, robes, hair dryers, and mirrors in every bedroom, plus a washer/dryer with supplies, and adult and children's books and games.

Don’t want to pack all of your children’s supplies? We are child centric with books, age-appropriate movies and games. Pak-n-play, booster chairs, children’s plastic plates/sippy cups are available. Take the kids for a stroll to the park with our umbrella strollers or use the provided bicycles with two child bike trailer, bike seat and helmets. Want to go to the beach? No problem, we have sand toys, beach chairs, blankets, cooler, and umbrellas for your use.

If you love music, partake in our retro vinyl LP’s, CD's and cassette tapes. All TV’s are smart and can stream your favorite show or play music.

The house is very quiet with minimal traffic. There is an additional level with guests, but we have invested heavily in significant sound dampening insulation for a quiet, comfortable and private space. However, if you are sensitive to light or sound, we have blackout curtains/blinds, ear plugs, and white noise machines to drift you off to sleep in cool Bamboo microfiber sheets with down or down alternative comforters.

You can enjoy the natural setting while grilling on the covered deck with ample outdoor furniture overlooking the forest. The shared yard is perfect for morning yoga, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and exercising your furry friends in our fully fenced (4 feet high) backyard.

Do you enjoy a good cup of coffee? Partake in the premium coffee and tea bar with multiple brewing options while enjoying the peaceful trees from the back deck or yard. We do not have a Keurig as we are eco-conscious.

You can work with a comfortable workstation with office supplies and super-fast internet with >900 Mbs that ensures consistent video calls and streaming videos.

We have ample, dedicated street parking with detached garage for longer stays.

Located only 7 miles from downtown Seattle, we are a great central location to many of the major Seattle hospitals and healthcare facilities as well as University of Washington. Commuting is a breeze with the Northgate Light Rail station only 1 mile away and Rapid Ride Bus line a 5 minute walk. Link Light Rail provides quick trips to the University District, downtown, Lumen Field, T-Mobile Park and the Seattle-Tacoma Airport. Sea-Tac is 15-20 minutes by car and 45 minutes by Light Rail with a mere cost of $3.50 and trains that run every 8 minutes.

Before booking, please review the house rules to ensure this home meets your needs. We have a shared yard for recreation & relaxation, dogs, and children. Additional pet policies apply and proof of vaccination/flea & tick protection will be required prior to stay.

We are dedicated to offering a comfortable and natural environment for all our visitors. Please note that some of our bedding contains down feathers, and our decor includes natural elements. To bring the beauty of the natural surroundings indoors, we have left the two picture windows and sliding door uncovered, allowing you to enjoy the view of the forest outside.

We support eco-friendly, sustainable, and environmentally-considerate purchases and practices wherever possible. We forgo single-use items such as Keurig coffee pods, use Brita pitchers for filtered water, and recycle extensively.

Pampered Getaway
This property is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet environment in an urban setting. The owner has made sure there are lots of the little things (plush robes, charging cords, sleep masks) to make you feel pampered during your stay. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with the woods in your backyard if you are interested in a nature walk. Groceries and other stores just a short walk away.

I love how quiet and safe this neighborhood is. As well, its so close to downtown but removed from the hussle and bustle of the big town and it's traffic. We like the small town atmosphere that Victory Heights has as we come from a close knit family type town. We think you will enjoy the many activities available to you in the Northgate region.

What makes this property unique

The grounds are expansive and have allowed us to be very close to Thornton Creek. Our property is very private and serene. We have chosen amenities for our guests, their children, and furry friends to help them be comfortable and enjoy their time at our home.
