Your Port Isabel adventure begins at this 2-bedroom 2 bath house. Marvelous and tranquil, this gorgeous property offers a serene escape for guests. With a king bed and two queen beds, the bedrooms provide a comfortable and restful sleep. The king bathroom is equipped with a jetted bathtub, and a shower, ensuring a luxurious experience. The Harbor Bay Home is a beautiful property situated on the water which is commonly known as the fingers. Situated among the canals of Port Isabel with lovely views of the water with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, this waterfront home is a place for unwinding in the crisp Gulf breeze. It is minutes from the beaches on South Padre Island. From the home, you can leave the fingers (Canals) and fish in the Lower Laguna Madre in seconds. It's a short boat ride to leave the bay passing through the jetties and right into the Gulf of Mexico. Also, a short boat ride and you can be up close and personal to the rockets at Space X from the water. After a day spent fishing, boating, or lounging on the nearby beaches of South Padre Island, you can relax and watch the sunsets which are so tranquil with spectacular views that can be viewed on the large deck overlooking the fingers. Also, from the deck you can enjoy the fireworks that are shot almost every weekend during the summer months. If you are fortunate enough to have this home booked during a Space X launch you can enjoy it right from the deck!

It's a setting that's both scenic and convenient, just over a mile from the heart of downtown where you will find a variety of small locally owned shops and dining. The Port Isabel Lighthouse is a State Historic Site which is available for tours. For a fun day at the beach, head over the causeway to South Padre Island or visit the Isla Blanca state park. Nearby, you'll also find Treasures of the Gulf Museum, Long Island Village Golf Course, and Sea Turtle, Inc. There is entertainment for the whole family to enjoy from chartered inshore and offshore fishing trips, parasailing, dolphin tours, go-carts, and horseback riding, just to name a few. Restaurants are all up and down the island and several options for nightlife are all within minutes of this beautiful home.

Bright colors and plentiful windows are a constant throughout the house, creating a bright, cheerful space to return to each evening. You will want to take advantage and enjoy your cocktails, dinners, lunches, and even breakfast out on the upper deck where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. For the early birds, enjoy your coffee on the deck, watch the beautiful sunrise, and listen to the fish jumping. Inside, enjoy a colorful kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a window-lined dining area, and a light-filled living room with a comfortable sectional and a TV. Central air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi, and a private washer/dryer round out the in-home essentials.

When you book the Home on the Bay you have total and private access to the top of the home with two private and secure entrances for your conveniences with an amazing large private deck overseeing the water below. The home offers a very private and intimate setting. The deck has spectacular views and nice patio furniture to sit down and relax so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset with coffee or your favorite drink. You can fish right from the top deck in the water down below. If the studio below is not booked you can also go downstairs and utilize the deck on the water, but if a guest is occupying the studio they have total access to the bottom deck and you have the top deck. We have had guest want to book the lower studio at a discounted rate so that they can enjoy the entire home, top and bottom, with total privacy and full usage of both decks. Please inquire if that option is available.

THERMOSTAT & TEMPATURE: The home has a new energy effecient outside unit and inside unit and is envirnmentally controlled by a Nest Thermostat E which is electronically controlled by he Host. In the summer it varies from 74 - 72 degrees. During the winter months when needed it varies from 74 -76 degrees. GUEST DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO CONTROL THE THERMOSTAT.

ADDITIONALLY , IF YOU ARE BRINGING A BOAT AND NEED A BOAT SLIP, OR TRAILER PARKING, or WANT ACCESS TO THE GREEN LIGHTS those are all AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS AND UPON AVAILABILITY. We know you will enjoy this wonderful Home on the Bay with all the spectacular views!
