Fall colors of Cape Cod

The home was exactly as described and it was more cozy and comfortable than we could have hoped for. It was great after breakfast to be able to walk a paved trail directly behind the property thru the forest with the trees changing to brilliant colors of fall. The location to grocery stores, restaurants was also very convenient and we look forward to coming back to cape cod and definitely would want to stay here again.

Perfect Cape Vacation at Penobscot Bliss

Visited Cape Cod last week of August in Penobscot Bliss. It was a vacation where we wanted to spend some quality time together with the family. Cape Cod is so perfect for family vacation with variety of activities available for families. Penobscot Bliss was great. We found it neat and clean and comfortable with all the required amenities needed for a nice family vacation. We used the first floor bedroom and the couple bedrooms upstairs and they are in great condition. Basement had the washer and dryer and we used it few times. Basement also has bunk beds for the kids but we didn’t use it. All the showers in both floors were nicely maintained. Deck, backyard and front yard were great to spend time in between the trips to surrounding towns like Brewster and Dennis. Harwich is a nice town itself with many nice beaches, hiking trails, eateries and restaurants. The backyard from this house directly connects to the bike trail which is great for biking and hiking. Flowering shrubs are nicely placed surrounding the yard. Loved the outdoor shower which is ideal to wash while coming back from the beach. The vacation house made our vacation in cape a memorable one.

Home away from home in convenient location!

This was our first time staying in the Cape as a family, and this spacious home was perfect for our needs. The property description was accurate and the host was a great communicator throughout the whole process. We loved the comfortable beds and clean bathrooms and the convenient access to the bike trail. We visited several towns and beaches and found this home in Harwich to be a short drive from everything. Would definitely choose to stay here again!!

Great house, great location

First time on the Cape and we had a great time! The home is centrally located, and backs to the rail trail which was so convenient. Interior looked even nicer in person than the pictures. Great communication from Elaine, and the basement was a huge perk when traveling with kids. Would recommend!

A lovely stay

House was exactly as portrayed on VRBO. A wonderful big yard for dogs and people. I can imagine how beautiful the rhodys are when in bloom. The Cape Cod bike/hike trail is right behind the yard. The beds are very comfortable. There are steep stairs to upper bedrooms and the lower level so be cognizant of that. We had a long stay - 2 and a half weeks - and we loved really getting to know Cape Cod with all its wonders. The owner was instantly available any time we had a question.

Short trip to the Cape

After a bus tour of New England it was very nice to have 3 relaxing nights in Cape Cod. We enjoyed having our own beds that were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking breakfasts and one dinner. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the backyard because it was rainy. Would definitely consider staying here again if we make it back to the Cape.

Comfortable & Private Home

The home was very comfortable for 4 adults needing 3 bed/bath combos, as accurately described. Furnishings were good, but upstairs carpet was in bad shape. Location felt central to Cape Cod area as a whole, but not really close to anything. Beware….there are 2 cleaning fees - if you don’t want to sit around the last morning to do their laundry. Overall rating based on average-ness of property & extra fee charged for cleaning linens.

Our primary residence is in Unionville CT where we have lived many years. Our dream was to own a home in Cape Cod and we love all the towns uniqueness but especially Harwich!

Why they chose this property

I have been vacationing in Cape Cod since childhood and adore the Cape! I have fond memories of my yearly vacations with my parents and brother many years ago. I love the beaches, shops, galleries and much more that the Cape has to offer. My dream was to own a home on Cape Cod. We would like to share our home with you and hope you can make your own special memories for years to come!
