Great stay

Location is amazing, quick walk to castle, old town, and trails. Cup of coffee on terrace in morning with great views, solitude, and a drink at night while playing billiards, would gladly return.

Wonderful August Summer Week!

Lovely property just above the Hauptstrasse and below the castle. Easy to walk to all the cafes, restaurants, Neckar river, etc. Quiet place nestled in the trees with lovely green views of the local hills!

The steps are worth it.

We enjoyed our stay here; however, it is worth noting that it takes 88 steps to get from the garage to the loft. The setting is relaxing, and it is just a short but steep walk to the city center. Our host, Volker, communicated well before and during our stay.

Great Location. Comfortable space

While most of our work team are at the major hotels with long walks to the city center, this spacious Vrbo is central to everything. Will always try to get this space when I return.

Great place! Perfect location!

This place is located perfectly within the city. You have a parking spot. The steps are a little difficulty if your not in a decent shape, the apartment is great. 2 terraces, wonderful views

Great apartment a short walk from Uniplatz

This apartment was ideal for my 5 day stay in Heidelberg. It is a short walk (7 mins downhill, 10 mins uphill) from the Universitätsplatz. It was quiet, well furnished, and convenient. Loved the pool table. There was a dishwasher but no clothes washer (but the laundromat on Uniplatz worked just fine. Volker provided a warm welcome. I would stay here again.

3 nights in Altstadt

We had a great time in Heidelberg. A quick taxi ride from Hauptbahnhof and we were relaxing inside. The pool table was a big hit. Nights were quiet and restful. Thank you for the beers waiting- I left a few tannenapfel to replace them. A laundry machine would have been great. In town 2-3 day turnaround for laundry service. (We never found coin operated machines).

Feels secluded, but town is just a short walk away

We liked that this place is in a natural setting right near the castle. It's an uphill walk from the main street, but that was ok with us. The pool table is a fun amenity we've certainly never had before. The angled ceiling in the loft is quite low, so that space felt smaller than we expected. But the ultra-modern shower room is impressive and spacious. Volker is a wonderful host, and we appreciated the drinks in the fridge!

Besonderes Loft in guter Lage

Das Besondere an dem Loft war der Billardtisch, den wir täglich genutzt haben. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat die Wohnung mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, das war herausragend. Der Kühlschrank war mit gekühlten Getränken gefüllt, vielen Dank. Das Loft hat eine gute Lage zur Altstadt (man benötigt ein wenig Fitness für die vielen Treppen) und die Garage ist Gold wert. Die Wohnung ist leider recht abgewohnt und könnte (besonders in der Küche) eine Grundreinigung brauchen. Das Bad war neuer, schön und sauber. Die Wohnung hat ihren Charme und wir haben trotz Abstrichen dort einen schönen Aufenthalt genossen.

Man könnte mehr draus machen

Die Lage der Wohnung zur Altstadt ist super!Wissenswert ist,dass man die Wohnung über steile Steintreppen erreicht! Man sollte also gut zu Fuß sein! Leider ist das Objekt in die Jahre gekommen ! Es war grundsätzlich sauber aber abgewohnt und wirkte nicht sehr gepflegt!

Sehr schöne Wohnung im Grünen und der Altstadt HD

Sehr schön gelegen im grünen. Die Altstadt ist flussläufig erreichbar in paar Minuten. Eine Parkgarage ist auch dabei. ..aber das Highlight der Wohnung...ein Billiardtisch. Das findet man nicht oft. Sehr zu empfehlen . Wir kommen wieder.

insgesamt gut

Wir nutzen immer Ferienwohnungen u. haben selten erlebt, dass eine Wohnung so gut ausgestattet ist. Sämtliches Verbrauchsmaterial wie Tabs, Spüli, WC-Papier, Putzmittel... Pfeffer, Salz war vorhanden. Im Kühlschrank standen Begrüßungsgetränke. Super! Bier, Piccolo, O.Saft, Milch, Wasser. Bettwäsche u genügend Handtücher waren vorhanden, ebenso Trocken- u. Spültücher. Das Bad war renoviert, die separate Toilette nicht, wobei mich das nicht gestört hat. Das WC war sauber und stabil (ich kenne auch wackelnde WCs und Brillen) und mehr brauche ich nicht. Im Bad ist ein Bidet, kein WC, letzteres hätten wir bevorzugt. Die Renovierung im Bad wurde vermutlich nicht vom Fachmann vorgenommen, dem hätte ich als Auftraggeber sonst gekündigt. Das Silikonfugen in einem Altbau reißen, kommt vor, doch oberhalb des Fliesenspiegel war schon sehr gefuscht worden. Doch auch das tut der Nutzung ja keinen Abbruch und manch einer wohnt dauerhaft deutlich schlechter, als im Urlaub in dieser Wohnung. Bei Nutzung dieser Wohnung ist es gut, wenn der Mieter beweglich ist. ;) Einmal der vielen Stufen wegen (Von der Straße bis zur Wohnung sind es 68) und der Weg von der Altstadt zur Wohnung ist auch teilweise mit Anhöhen und Stufen zu bewältigen. Die Entfernung ganz ok. In der Wohnung muss man, um zu den oberen zwei Betten zu gelangen, am Ende der Wendeltreppe ein wenig in den Schlafbereich kriechen. Ideal für Kinder die oben schlafen und die Eltern bleiben unten.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schmutzig und abgewohnt-Türen im Beteich der Klinken sehr schmierig, Bett im OG war auf Holzklötzchen stabilisiert- Küche nicht sauber- viel Staub- Balkon unzumutbar. Nicht zu empfehlen

Gute Unterkunft mit guter Lage

Die Fewo ist gut gelegen und hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist super. Ja ist nicht alles hoch modern, aber entspricht genau den Beschreibungen. Es ist alles sauber und wir wurden in der Fewo mit Sekt, Bier , Saft im Kühlschrank empfangen . Wirklich nett.

Great place with a great setting

We loved our stay and the apartment was a just as described. We loved the close location to the old town area and our biggest regret is thT we didn't have time for another night. Highly recommend.
