New construction home for rent with stunning water views in a large, quiet cove in one of the best areas of Norris Lake! Our house is perfect for a couple of families or 5-6 couples. We sleep 12 Adults MAX or 15 people total (Strictly enforced). We love our pets and animals but due to the safety of family and friends we do not allow pets or any animals. We are in one of the best coves on the lake! The house is located .5 miles back in an idle zone, so you don’t have to worry about a lot of boat traffic or waves. This makes it private and much safer for swimming and kayaking while exploring the cove. The house is located just a little over 100ft from the dock which is very convenient. As you make your way down to the dock there is a nice fire pit area for you to enjoy after a full day on the water. Firewood is provided. On the dock there is a 16ft x 26 ft covered area with a bar with seating for 6. Rain or shine, there is plenty of room on the dock to hang out on a rainy day or if you just need to seek some shade and chill. There is also a picnic table and 4 Adirondack chairs. We have 4 single kayaks and 1 double kayak for your use. You will also have access to a 11ft x 28ft covered slip and a 10ft x 16 ft covered slip.
If you are planning to rent a boat, I recommend checking out Shanghai Marina, Sugar Hollow Marina, or Whitman Hollow Marina. Those three marinas are roughly 15 minutes by road and some offer delivery and pickup. By water we are 3.5 miles to Stardust Marina (one of our favorites for food), 5 miles to Sequoyah Marina, 7 miles to Shanghai Marina (good food, drinks, and best shopping on the lake), 8.5 miles to Sugar Hollow Marina, 13 miles to Whitman Hollow Marina, 15.5 miles to Indian River Marina (another one of our favorites for food), and 25 miles to Beach Island Marina (great boat ride to enjoy the scenery and good food) .
The house is 3000 sq ft, has 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The main level houses an open concept kitchen, the laundry room with a commercial ice machine and 2nd refrigerator, 1/2 bath, great room, and master bedroom. In the kitchen you will find there is plenty of room for cooking and entertaining. It is stocked with all the dishware, cookware, bakeware, and utensils you will need to feed everyone as well as a 4-slot toaster, air fryer, large and small crockpot, blender, hand mixer, a 14-cup coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker. There is also a reverse osmosis drinking water system under the sink and the spice cabinet also has basic spices for your use. When you walk out onto the deck there is seating for 12 people around the dining table, 4 additional places at a pub style table (also a great place for card games), a large Weber grill, and a nice lounge area with an L shaped couch that’s a great place to start your day with a cup of coffee. There is an outdoor fireplace on the upper deck, but it is for the owner’s use only. The bottom level has 5 bedrooms, 3 baths and a TV room. Bedroom 2 is a queen bed with a lake view, private bath, closet, and tv. Bedroom 3 is a queen bed with lake view and tv. Bedroom 4 is a queen bed with lake view and tv. Bedroom 5 is a queen bed with a twin bed and a closet. Bedroom 6 has a twin over twin bunk and a twin over full bunk. The lower deck has a nice seating area that’s a little more private than the upper deck seating. The driveway offers plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles and there is a graveled, designated spot for 2 trucks and 2 trailers along the side of the road.
There is security cameras on the exterior of the house so we can monitor the driveway. They are visible and if you have any questions i can show you exactly where they are.
