This is the best place to stay in Logan
This is a marvelous, quiet, intimate home-away-from-home. You can have a look at my glowing review from the previous week -- I stayed twice in two and a half weeks! Something new: remembering me, they prepared the second bed for us when we arrived! By reviewing this rental so favorably, I risk greater competition for it in the future. Perhaps I am a fool, but this place is so nice, and the management of it is so accommodating, that I really want other people to have the experience.

Cute home in the middle of town
Home was very comfortable and clean. Quiet location for being off Main Street. Host was able to accommodate our parking needs for a truck and enclosed trailer.

Comfortable home for two
Pleasant and comfortable for two of us. Might be a little tight for more overnight. There was plenty of convenient storage for staying for a week. It was close to downtown and not very far from other places we went. We enjoyed our stay.

Quaint Unique Home
The house is so inviting and has so much charm. I was super impressed with all that was offered in the kitchen. It had all we needed and more. The beds were super comfy. It is right off Main Street and close to any stores and restaurants you might need. It has some quirks as an old home. The temperature in the bedroom was stifling hot but if turned temp down to be comfortable the rest of house was so cold. The master bathroom toilet took multiple flushings to work properly. The parking is terrible if you have more than 1 vehicle or a larger SUV vehicle. I had a Ford Expedition EL and could not park in the designated parking spot by the home. The additional parking spot puts your car into an area where other cars are driving through and could possibly hit your vehicle. There is a person living in the basement and while we never saw them or were disturbed by them we were anxious to not disturb them and so were constantly telling each other to be quiet and to walk softly. I don't think I would stay here again but it is definitely a home you should experience once.

Nostalgic, yet modern
The home was lovely. It was reminiscent of Grandma’s home with various nostalgia, books, pictures, and beautiful decorations but also modern with a smart TV which was mounted on the ceiling but could move into place vertically using a remote control & a glass-top convection oven. The older washer & dryer ran fabulously fast loads, which was most convenient after spending the day exploring with my 1yo grandson who lives locally. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pans, & good appliances for cooking meals or a quick snack. There was a lot of traffic in and out of the driveway, so not really conducive to children or spending time outside on the property.

My favorite place to stay in Logan
This house is ONE OF THE NICEST PLACES I HAVE EVER STAYED. We love the family history of the place. My wife and I were in Logan for about a week, and we felt so much at home, here, that we booked again on our next trip. The house is very well cared for, and it is the perfect size for a couple, or for a couple with two children. Temperature wise, it is snug, and the heat is very effective. It has a small and very nicely laid out kitchen – we ate 3 meals per day, here, cooking something each night. There is a small, spare back yard with a BBQ; we did not use it, but it isn’t mentioned in the description, so I mention it, here. The living room has a TV where you can watch your streaming services (or broadcast TV, if you are a luddite…) – it’s big enough to watch from the dining area, if you wish. The dishwasher gets dishes clean; there are new, non-stick pans and a set of really sharp knives. It’s plenty quiet, even though it is a short distance off Main Street/Highway 89. You can walk a couple of blocks to downtown Logan, with parks, a great antique store, lots of restaurants. Drive up to Angie’s and get a pie for your stay. Hamburgers, hoagies, and Pizza are just across Main Street. Smith’s grocery is only about six blocks away. Lee and the grounds manager Chuck are both very, very nice people. Lee came on a Sunday to bring us sheets for the pull-out bed – what a nice man! I recommend this house when you stay in Logan. Just don’t rent it when I want to stay there!
