Charming home & wonderful swiming pool
My wife and I recently stayed at this charming classic New Orleans top floor home, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. Floor to ceiling windows, 2 balconies, 12 foot ceilings, & a great location on Magazine St. The space effortlessly combined old-world charm with modern amenities. The host Leslie was exceptional. From the moment we booked our stay till we left, she was attentive and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.

New Orleans at its best
The property is in an ideal “walk to” location. The property is quintessential New Orleans with charm but modern kitchen, bath and appliances. The owner was always very responsive and helpful when needed. We would definitely go back again.

Simply the Best!
The host was very communicative and helpful and made things easy for us. The location was just perfect, and we walked everywhere. The kitchen was a 'cooks' kitchen and fully stocked. It was nice to have a pool area where we could sit, have lunch, and work outside. The place is beautifully appointed.

Ideal home in New Orleans
We stayed three months in this lovely home and hosted about 20 family members and friends for short periods of time. This home is ideally suited for living and hosting either short or long term. Leslie was so responsive to our every need and was a delightful person to get to know. We have stayed in over 70 short term rentals over the past ten years and this place ranks in the top five. The location is ideal. Magazine street is one of the most interesting streets to walk in the world and this place sits right in the middle of it. Thank you Leslie for hosting us in your lovely home.

The best
This was the nicest rental. The apartment is beautiful and beautifully kept. Leslie is an incredible host, there were so many treats and amenities throughout the property. All the appliances are top notch. When a maintenance issue came up, Leslie’s communication was excellent and courteous. Really wonderful all around!

Garden District Stay
We came for four days to see our younger daughter graduate from college and stayed in Leslie’s lovely Second Street apartment. It was light, airy, and very comfortable: all the amenities, attractively furnished, even a large pool. It also has a fantastic Magazine Street location! Leslie couldn’t have been more responsive to any questions we had, too. We couldn’t have been happier, thank you, Leslie!

Nice place !
The property was great ! We enjoyed our stay. We would have liked off street parking, and maybe a king sized bed, however the pool, kitchen, balcony, and living room were great. We will definitely be back !

Such a beautiful home in a perfect location! So close to the shops on Magazine but situated among the lovely homes in the Garden District. Spacious living areas with a fully stocked kitchen and well-appointed bathrooms. The balcony and garden/pool are wonderful places to relax in the mornings. Leslie was beyond accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you!

Fantastic
Great location and a very nice property. Loved Magazine street and everything it has offer. Walked to the trolley one night and took it to dinner on St. Charles which was a lot of fun. Short Ubber ride to the Quarter as well. No complaints.

stunning property, amazing location
Leslie's home is simply beautiful. The description and photos do not do it justice. The attention to detail and luxury in finishings and decor are unique and elegant. We all wanted to move in to this beautiful condo. Location is convenient to all, yet not too close from tourist central. Comfortable beds and plush, abundant linens. Loved sitting on the terrace to start or end the day.

Great location, wonderful house
We had an amazing time in this beautiful home. With our 4 month old, it was nice to go on stroller rides in the neighborhood and to be able to grab a bite without having to walk far. The house was gorgeous and comfortable. I am definitely booking again!

Couldn't have been happier with our stay. Bed was cozy, shower was good, we used the kitchen every day, and the balcony was awesome for coffee and breakfast in the morning and happy hour in the evening. Highly recommend.

A pristine, peaceful, private slice of perfection!
Spending quality time alone here with my spouse was such a wonderful blessing! Please allow us to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the owner for sharing this property. From start to end, Leslie was a dream to work with. She was quick with every response and endlessly patient with my questions. My husband had never done a VRBO stay before so he had concerns about security/safety and general reservations about trying something different. Ultimately, he glanced at a few pics then left the decision to me. All doubts faded the minute we walked through the door. I watched with delight as the expression on his face confirmed the unit had far exceeded his expectations. Located in one of the safest enclaves within the Garden District, it's spotless and ornately furnished. There are fantastic places to shop and eat within walking distance and we did! We loved every minute of being in the apartment so much that neither of us wanted to leave. Upon our departure, it was fun to join the rest of my family who arrived in the French Quarter for a family celebration but nearly every night thereafter hubby and I discussed how we were both yearning to be back in the apartment on Magazine sipping our CC's coffee while people watching on the balcony, lounging in the living room listening to jazz and reading our books, floating without a care in the sensational pool or just napping away in those comfy beds. Furthermore, the water pressure in the bathroom was strong, the kitchen was well stocked although I barely used it and the complimentary rum was a fantastic surprise! Our neighbor downstairs was incredibly gracious and hospitable too, providing assistance as needed with little things (like how to turn on the water feature) but being ever so respectful of our privacy. Special memories we made during our brief stay in this gorgeous home will be treasured forever and my husband has declared it as the only place he wants to stay when we visit New Orleans in the future. I completely agree. I just hope we'll still be able to find an available week to reserve it after people read this review!

Beautiful home, warm and welcoming.
My family of 4 called this place "home for our 6 day stay in New Orleans. The home was beautiful, everything we needed was there (and more). My kids loved the pool and we loved the gardening and landscaping. Like your own private oasis. Great location--the garden district is very walk-able and we took the trolley and/or bus easily with a Jazzy Pass. We are already taking about returning for Spring break 2018.

Perfection!
This house is pure perfection! Every last detail and amenity are wonderful. Leslie and Jason go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The house is truly lovely. The furniture and decor is top notch. The beds are uber comfortable. The linens and towels are fluffy and new. The pool is warm and relaxing. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen is large and very well equipped. The location is ideal - so close to great neighborhood spots (District for donuts, Parasols for po boys, Le Petit Grocery for delicious dinner and Coquette for Sunday brunch fried chicken). It is also a short and inexpensive uber ride to the French Quarter. If it weren't for our girls, we would have extended this trip indefinitely. We cannot wait to visit Leslie's magnificent home again. We will be back soon!

Beautiful Garden District home with great New Orlean's charm!
We enjoyed a great week staying at the Second Floor condo at this beautiful property and Leslie, the owner, was terrific and available if we had any questions. The living space was gorgeous and very well furnished. We used the balconies for coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. The kitchen was great for entertaining. We had several dinner guests during our stay. The pool is nestled between the home and thick hedges, creating a private setting, great for sun bathing and swimming. A block away from Tracy's, a local pub with bar food and fresh oysters. Just a few blocks more to several great restaurants, Basin Seafood, Coquette and great sushi at Sake Café Uptown, to name just a few. A very short Uber ride to the CBD and French Quarter. Terrific stay and we will definitely return next year.

Perfect Spot!
The weather was in the 80's so the pool was a wonderful amenity. The house is perfect, well stock, very comfortable, great linens/towels, and beautiful artwork. The balcony that over looks Magazine Street is a wonderful spot for coffee or cocktail. Love the location - can walk to great food, tour amazing homes, and away from the craziness and smells of the French Quarter. A definite gem!!

A Wonderful Place!
We loved our stay at Leslie's house. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen have been remodeled. It is in the Garden District and it was such fun to walk down the streets and look at the other beautiful houses. It is close to Magazine Street which has wonderful shops and restaurants. It is also easy to find a grocery store to pick up food and wine. The trolley is an easy walk from the house and we used it several times to explore the city. Leslie was very accommodating and responsive during the entire process. We would highly recommend this property.
