Captains’ Quarters, (Sand Dollar Retreat) has been a labor of love and we hope all of you will fall in love just as we have, with this adorable little beach bungalow surrounded by beautiful perennials blossoming throughout the season! Live the dream of living at the beach during your stay in this charming “home away from home” 💞

This century old home is located in an awesome area! A wonderful mix of vacationers as well as homeowners share the sidewalks of Summit Street with nothing but good vibes and great energy! We like to say we are just around the corner from all that our beautiful Old Orchard Beach has to offer! Less than 5 minutes and your toes are in the sand as long as you can avoid the shops and food stops along the way 😍😍😍

Two Bedroom, one bath home sleeps 7. All bed linens provided.

Room 1 has a queen bed, no tv, 4 pillows
Room 2 has full w/ 4 pillows and twin w/ 2 pillows, no tv

Living room has queen sofa bed (2 pillows and bedding provided), Samsung smart tv with Roku box, fireplace with an electric log insert for that cozy ambiance!

All beds and pillows are protected with zippered bed bug protectors as well as a second mattress protector for added water proof protection.

Dining Room seats 6, built in hutch offers games and puzzles for those down times when not out enjoying the beach 🌞

Fully equipped kitchen with seating for two in the breakfast nook. Small appliances available are microwave, toaster, and the coffee brewing station has options for 12 cup pot OR single serve pods. Refrigerator has ice and water dispenser, the stove/oven is electric. Dishwasher also available…detergent pods for dishwasher as well as Dawn dish detergent and sponge at the sink will be provided.

AC to keep you cool when you need a break from the heat 😉

Washer and dryer available for your laundry needs as well as an iron and ironing board. Starter laundry detergent, softener and dryer sheets provided.

Full bathroom has handicap bars in tub and around toilet. Towels, tissues, hand soap, blow dryer, and 2 rolls of toilet paper will be provided.

Three season front porch with seating for 4…this is a bright and sunny area that overlooks the neighborhood…a great spot to sit and relax, have morning coffee or just people watch!

The back yard is fully fenced in! Seating for 4 with an umbrella on the back deck is a great spot to hang out and enjoy this adorable back yard. Bbq Grill, fire pit and chairs can also be enjoyed out back! Inside the shed you will find some items that are also available for your convenience and enjoyment…beach chairs, yard games, a beach cart, toys and more can be found here.

This is a weekly rental with arrival and departures on Saturdays.

We are sorry, we will not be allowing pets for many obvious reasons and smoking of any kind is prohibited.

Parking is also no issue here! Private driveway should fit up to 3 vehicles…it is on the narrow side so for extra large vehicles you may want to snag a spot on the street!
