Relax on the porch swing or make memories around the fire outside. Enjoy watching the cows and horses graze the land. Truly a special place. Wi-Fi. Tranquility defined. Property is located in beautiful Micanopy, Florida. Very close to Downtown Micanopy which is lined with 19th-century brick buildings and massive oak trees dripping in Spanish moss. Here you experience cafes, art galleries, and shops brimming with secondhand books, vinyls, and other finds. Only 30 minutes to the World Equestrian Center. WEC is the largest equestrian complex in the United States consisting of a world-class, multi-indoor and outdoor arena facility offering state-of-the-art amenities to accommodate numerous disciplines within the equine industry. The over 300-acre facility boasts 15 outdoor rings, as well as five climate-controlled indoor arenas, ensuring ample space for competition and a refuge from inclement weather. Spectators and exhibitors alike will enjoy the on-site accommodations and dining options available during the show season. Take the whole family and learn more about equestrian sports.
You are also minutes away from Paynes Prairie State Park. This state park offers nine trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding; an informative visitor center; campgrounds and RV parking; and opportunities for fishing and canoeing on Lake Wauburg, though you’ll have to bring your own equipment. Nowhere else in Florida can visitors experience wild-roaming bison and horses. Nearly 300 species of birds also frequent the park along with alligators, deer and many other animals. Don’t miss the 50-foot observation tower, where you can admire the entire park and search for local wildlife, including bison, alligators, wild horses, and more than 300 species of birds.

For the Barbeque lovers, you cannot leave without a visit to Pearl Country Store and BBQ. It is hands down the best BBQ in the state. For those with a sweet tooth, Mosswood Farm Store and Bakehouse offers delicious pastries and coffee.
