South Lamar/Menchaca - 78704! Cozy, bright interior. Pool.

This is a great central location - near everything cool in Austin and walking distance to fun spots like the Broken Spoke, Matt's El Rancho, and Torchy's and more along South Lamar.
This one bedroom condo is a perfect spot to stay while in Austin. It is fully furnished: well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, sumptuous mattress and linens. Towels and pool noodles provided. It is simply decorated with thoughtful touches. We strive to keep the feel updated, fresh, and clean. There is fast Google Fiber Wi-Fi. The pool is just outside your door.

It's a quick trip to Downtown, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, and much more. Don't miss the new Seaholm project - urban re-use of great Art Deco architecture that once generated power for the city and the amazing new city library building is there. The Lady Bird Lake trail - miles of walking/running, great parkland, and views. There are many pools and lakes to enjoy in the Austin area.

There is easy onsite parking and great access to transportation routes. The condo community is an updated 32 unit complex with walk access to the Barton Oaks neighborhood. It is along the CapMetro #3 bus route that runs the length of Austin. Located on Menchaca Rd, between Ben White Blvd (Hwy71) and South Lamar Blvd (TX343) just east of Mopac (Loop 1) for easy access to the surrounding areas.

Typically monthly or longer stays. Please ask about shorter visits if your dates are open on our calendar and its less than 45-days ahead of stay. Great discounted rates for monthly reservations and taxes are not applied to stays that are 30+ days. Service fees are set by VRBO.

Perfect place for our month in Austin

The condo is clean, attractive, and well supplied. The condo community is safe, quiet and friendly. The location is great. Gina is friendly and helpful. We visited during COVID times and needed to self-quarantine in order to see our newborn grandson. It all worked out great even during the deep freeze!

All Good!

We enjoyed our extended stay and the fully equipped amenities. We have used VRBO and AIRBNB many times and by far this unit has everything you need for a comfortable, safe and clean stay from the kitchen and bathroom to the washer and dryer, walk-in closet, front patio, outside grill and pool (although it was not swim weather). Nice walkable neighborhood, easy parking. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice texas decor

Really enjoyed our six-week stay in this condo. It had everything we needed and the owner was very responsive and gracious to work with. Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen when we dined in, but also that we were close to lots of great restaurants and coffee places. Charmed by the Texas decor in the place as well, authentic and very nicely done!

Everything was true

All the good things written by other people who rented this apartment before me were true. I was right in trusting what I read. The apartment is a dream, comfortable, everything perfect, bed and bedroom, kitchen, living room. I enjoyed sitting outside too. It's a quiet place to stay, some neighbors I met were very kind people too. At the beginning I was taking Uber cabs to go downtown, then I discovered that there is a bus very close to the place, you pay 2.50 and can take the bus as much as you want or need for 24 hours! Gina is an amazing wonderful lady, always available, always a pleasure to talk to. If I decided to spend more time again in Austin I do not want to be at any other place. Here I could read and write, watch television, spend calm days. My previous experience with rented apartments by Airbnb and other business was far from being perfect, there were always something that did not completely fit what the add said. This time it was different and yes, everything was amazingly perfect. Thank you very much, Gina!

Comfortable and Convenient

My wife and I were here for the entire month of January 2020 and found the Texas-themed unit comfortable and convenient to downtown Austin. The unit is thoughtfully appointed - Gina is a responsible, accessible and helpful owner. The Google Fiber TV and internet were great. Overall a positive experience.

Perfect stay for a month

This is an excellent property. Very convenient to all southwest points. The condo is very clean, well appointed and in a quiet, safe and friendly condo community. Gina is a wonderful host as she checked in to make certain everything was okay and very willing to take care of anything we might have needed. Went I need a stay in Austin, I will be certain to stay here again.

Perfect place for an extended stay

Wonderful stay

I stayed in this unit for approximately six months when I was in Austin for work. I absolutely loved it. Great location in south Austin. Clean and well furnished with all necessary amenities. Comfortable and ideally located

Adorable condo steps from an in ground pool!

Ginas condo was perfect! Clean, cozy and every amenity you needed to feel at home. Any issue what so ever she was there in minutes with a smile and a fix. Mine was silly, not knowing how to get the Netflix on! ( I'm not tv savvy) lol. But Gina came an in under a minute explained how simple it was and never laughed at me. Thanks Gina. I'm coming back here every chance I get. The area is beautiful, fun and loaded with great restaurants, fun activities and not to mention just a few short minutes from the city of Austin and Zilker park for paddle boarding, canoeing or just a beautiful adventure in Texas! The tenants were charming, inviting and friendly. Best stay I ever experienced and I'm quite picky! Thank you again for a lovely stay. You've convinced my family to move here next year. Excellent place, convenient and well-furnished

A lovely one-bedroom, nicely equipped, and convenient to South Austin activities (10-12 minute drive to So. Congress). Gina, the owner, was really lovely and made the stay as convenient and easy as possible. A real thumbs up.

Best Ever

I'd like to thank you so much for all you've done for us. What a great stay. Location is perfect and Gina is an angel. The home was perfect for us. Clean, cute, comfortable, and convenient!

The condo is decorated tastefully, it was very clean, comfortable, conveniently located. It was close to a bustop, so we were able to easily use bus to get where we wanted to go!

Just perfect!

I stayed at this property with my husband, and it was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic; everything we wanted to do was close and easy to get to, and there were a variety of transportation options; it's very near a CapMetro stop, and also near enough to walk or bike to lots of restaurants and attractions(in fact, we attended ACL Fest while there, and just walked to Zilker Park). It's so peaceful and comfortable, and we loved the cozy Texas decor and furnishings. The bathroom and kitchen are gorgeous, and thoughtfully included anything we could've needed for our stay. Gina was a fantastic hostess; so helpful and accommodating, and such a pleasure to work with from the start of the booking process through our stay. We would love to stay here again next time we're in Austin!

Perfect Home/Perfect Location

The homeowners couldn't have made a better experience for us in our transition to Austin. We relocated and needed a temporary place to stay. They made they made the moving process much less stressful by providing all the modern conveniences. The whole place is clean and "fresh." The condo development is quiet and so convenient to great restaurants and tourist spots. I will recommend to friends and family when they visit!

Condo Review for Gina / Steve / Amanda

We were returning to Austin from overseas and awaiting our Tenant to move to their new Home and needed a month before returning to Mueller. We had to find a place online and weren’t able to visit prior to returning and Amanda helped us navigate the paperwork with Gina while making us feel comfortable with the transaction. Having never stayed at a VRBO, I expected to have to buy various furnishings like a coffee pot / towels / bedding / etc. When we walked in the door, the first thing I noticed was the high-end coffee pot in the well-stocked small kitchen. We quickly discovered that EVERYTHING was included with a nice stacked washer / dryer, a grill with unlimited gas canisters, and a very soft bed with super comfortable pillows. We needed a couple things to start our stay and Gina and Steve stopped by to take great care of us. The patio is really nice for sitting outside to read in the afternoon with lots of friendly neighbours and our little tiger cat loved to sun himself out there while watching the squirrels play around the pool. For those unfamiliar with Austin, the location is really convenient and safe and we were able to get to everything we needed in 10 – 15 minutes. We enjoyed our month there and were actually a little sad to leave when we finally packed up to move. ; )

Perfect fir for on the go professionals

The owners are wonderful and always available to assist. The unit was clean, bed was comfortable and they had everything I needed in the kitchen. If I'm back in Austin I will try to book the unit again (if available).

Why they chose this property

We did not set out to own a condo, but we love this spot.

It is unique! Located in central Austin; close to so much that we love about Austin; yet, it is nestled on a hill with trees in a small community and a terrific pool. The shade of the trees and the cool water are two things everyone appreciates during a central Texas summer, and they make this place magical year 'round.

We update and care for the interior so it stays fresh and inviting. The neighbors are friendly, considerate, and quiet. Come visit!
