Nice enough inside, but FALSELY Advertised.
Very misleading listing as to said PRIVACY, Ample Parking & Vibe of neighborhood! You actually SHARE the kitchen & deck & possibly the laundry in the hall of your private 3rd floor w/ guest from a locked 2nd floor room next to the kitchen, who can access the stairs to your "private bedrooms & bathroom" which are only private if the individual doors are locked. The stairs & hall to your rooms & Washer/Dryer are completely accessible to the other renter & they could use your "private bathroom" & washer & dryer if they choose to do so. Your bath is private when your are in it and lock the door from the inside. We only realized it was a shared property when the refrigerator had food in it & the stove had been recently used. The other gentleman guest was quiet and we never saw him, only his activity, as he left a pot in the sink the next day to pre-soak. Tina the property manager was very friendly & nice. Both contacts were very responsive. Tina stopped by shortly after our arrival & at that time explained the shared spaces & clarified the said "privacy" in the listing & that the site needed to be updated, but hadn't yet. As 2 single woman, we would not have choose an AirB&B style situation had we known. The ample parking is packed street parking. We had to park 2 blocks away & the area was definitely NOT the definition of a charming college vibe! Most of the neighborhood & area appeared pretty rundown & the majority of the homes had bars on the windows. The steps are very STEEP!
