The booking process was easy however 15 days prior to the day that we needed an extra night, we requested it. The owner admitted to VRBO that he never confirmed nor denied the request but on my end it showed the date marked out with the new date provided. We believed that showed it was confirmed. We got interrupted in the middle of our trip saying we needed to leave right away because the cleaners were there and we were supposed to have checked out. It was a huge inconvenience and mess. We opted to locate to another property. From there VRBO kept messaging me about items left at the property that no one could tell me what they were referring to and the guests didn't have any items they believed to be missing. I asked VRBO to call me directly on a specific date and they didn't. Then when they would try to call I couldn't take their call due to work. I asked specifically too for a list of what was at the property. No one provided that. All of this could have been prevented by the host properly communicating regarding our request for the extra night.
