Relaxing Stay Prior to Galveston Cruise
We had the BEST time. Everything was perfect from the charcuterie board to the smores and fresh eggs we gathered from the chicken coop! Also, coffee and other breakfast items and snacks were provided. We even got a tour of the entire farm which was awesome! We got to pet the horses, see the cows and the chickens of course. Beds were comfy and we had plenty of space for all of us. Cheryl is super nice and so is her son. We can't say enough about how special the house is and everything in it. The decor was top notch. Everything is so well put together with all the little details -- I was loving the Longeberger basket and the western plates, etc. She had paperplates and everything we needed to enjoy all of it! Thank you for the hospitality! :)

HarBet Lodge was started to maintain and share the rural lifestyle. It all started from the vision of Harrel and Betty Knape, which is why we chose to name it HarBet.

HarBet Lodge is meant to be shared. To provide the beauty we see and allow you to make memories with the ones you love, curating your personal Ranch experience unlike any other.

Through visiting HarBet Lodge, we hope our guests will better understand how important it is to take care of the land and each other.

Harbet Lodge is a place to relax and enjoy the moments. Cook dinner with the family, tell stories around the campfire with a mouthful of s'mores, relax and read a book, gather chicken eggs, feed a mini horse, and more.

Cheryl and Gregg Knape, HarBet Lodge owners, love decorating and hosting family and friends, so sharing our rural lifestyle with others is something I enjoy. I want others to see the beauty and create memories on the Ranch.

Gregg has made it his mission to take care of the animals because that's who we are and what we do. He gets up in the middle of the night to check on mares foaling, horses colicing, and cows trying to calve, and he does all this with a glad heart because he knows that is what he was called to do.

Why they chose this property

Gregg's parents chose this neighborhood. They had a dairy farm, and Gregg has built a large animal veterinarian practice here. We love the land and the rural lifestyle.

What makes this property unique

It sits on a family cattle ranch.
