About this property
Log Cabin Inn 18 On The McKenzie River
The Historic Log Cabin Inn has 22 privately owned cabins with about half open as vacation rentals.
This "Red Chair Cabin" is a shining star among the available cabins and is sure to become one of your favorite vacation getaways as you enjoy:
- The location allowing more natural light and river views from each room
- The personal touches and attention to details throughout the cabin
- The more spacious and open layout including an extra large screened porch
- The custom kitchen upgrades
The RED CHAIR CABIN is creatively furnished with unique, artful, vintage, and antique pieces throughout. And yes, ALL the chairs in the cabin are RED!! :-) Everyone who steps foot in the space absolutely loves and raves about it!
Less than half mile to LOLOMA LODGE and about four miles to TOKATEE GOLF CLUB.
The RED CHAIR CABIN is one of the brightest in the complex with tons of natural light. The sights and sounds of the river can be experienced from nearly every window in the cabin. It truly is an exceptional space to rest and relax or to enjoy a romantic getaway.
There are two private bedrooms/bathrooms each with queen size beds. Extra attention to detail went into the bedding choices to assure the most comfortable and clean stay. Both of the premium (medium/firm) pillow top mattresses, and all bedding pillows are sealed in commercial grade hygienic cases that are anti microbial and anti bacterial. There are extra blankets available in both bedrooms if you would like additional warmth while you sleep.
The Luxurious bath products are sourced from Ginger Lily Farms and are 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free.
The warm and cozy living room looks onto the screened porch with extensive views of the gorgeous McKenzie River. You can snuggle into the comfortable leather sofa while you enjoy the fire place, read a good book, or binge watch your favorite series on TV (Netflix and Disney+ are provided), all while listening to the river flowing by.
There is a collection of classic card and board games if you want to have a little competitive fun during your stay.
The kitchen is extremely well stocked with sharp German chef knives and all the necessary cookware/utensils to please most avid home cooks. There are also plenty of cooking oils, spices, hot sauces, and basic condiments provided as well. For the outdoor cook, there is a gas bbq on the back patio next to the screened porch with all the basic utensils to grill until your heart's content!
The quaint dining nook features a rustic handmade antique oak dining table. Savor home cooked meals on the bright and colorful collection of genuine Fiestaware and enjoy your favorite beverage in a glass from the well stocked cabinet of glassware. There are even champagne flutes for those extra special celebrations!
The extra large screened porch is truly one of the best spots in the cabin. The sights and sounds of the McKenzie River simply can't be beat in that space. Rock all your worries away in one of the solid wood rocking chairs or enjoy an outdoor meal around the table. There's also a cozy Pendleton blanket stored in the outdoor vintage trunk/coffee table for those chilly nights or mornings! Flip on the outdoor string lights for that extra special ambience!
We know you will enjoy it as much as we do! :-)
All the grounds at the Log Cabin Inn are considered "common spaces" but there is a reasonable expectation of privacy surrounding each cabin's "personal yard space".
There is a trail along the river that is accessible to all but it's recommended for walking through and not for guests sitting behind individual private cabins.
There is ample open space near the large grass meadow if you'd like to take a chair and sit by the river.
