Worst Rental Experience Ever
By far the worst experience I have ever had. From the lack of cleanliness to no follow-through by Vacasa (rental company) or the owner, this was the pits. We entered the property after a 10 hour drive to find Christmas trees and decorations still up in the house on January 19th. The pine trees were dropping needles all over the floor. Decorations all over the porch with another tree. Complaint called in to Vacasa with no response. Day two the front door lock failed. Vacasa sent someone out the following day to fix the lock. Recyle bin was crushed and laying by the garage door. I spent an hour on the phone with waste management getting it replaced. Master shower floor was covered in mold/mildew. Outside gas grille grates were covered in mold as was the grease catch. Unusable. Master bed mattress cover covered with urine stains. Many calls and text messages to Vacasa with the response being a ticket will be written. My wife would not stay in the rental after 3 weeks. Last straw, the internet went out and took two days to resolve given the owner could not be reached. We vacated the property ten days early and received only a partial refund. Lesson learned, never rent through Vacasa as you dont deal with the owner and they really dont care. The cleaning service and mangement group never followed through to correct the cleaning issues.
