Sandy Toes Summer Beach House

Are you and your family looking for a summer adventure on PEI without the hassle of moving from place to place? We have a beautiful summer home available for seasonal rent, located in a private vacation community called Sun Set Dunes in Cape Traverse, PE. Available from June 1 to October 31

This home is completely furnished, with four - six bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This home is situated on a large 2 acre private lot on the water with access to miles of sandy beach. This home is fully furnished to provide you with a home away from home – including a fully equipped kitchen, bedding, towels, television, BBQ, and deck chairs.

Cape Traverse provides a central location to the Islands most popular tourist locations, this is an ideal place to spend your summer – right on the beach, yet only minutes from golf courses, many restaurants, shopping and other amenities around Prince Edward Island.

With a central location, Sunset Dunes is located less than 35 minutes from the Island’s two cities and provides the best features that oceanfront country living can offer:

Direct beach access available within our long private stretch of sand dunes,
with having convenient access to a safe and sandy family-friendly beach.
Over 1 mile of waterfront allows for amazing views.

Beautiful home across the road from a beautiful beach

Modern comfortable home with a beautiful property. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing stay with walking access to a sandy beach. Quiet area and had beach mostly to ourselves. The owner Chris was very nice and responsive. Place can easily accommodate 8-10 people. Would definitely go back!

Great for large groups and families

Great house for our group of 3 families. Clean and modern. Has everything you need. Giant backyard for kids to play and bonfire pit is in a little clearing out back. Beach is close (short walk down a pathway), private, and beautiful. We were the only ones on it almost the whole time :). Close to Borden Carleton. Owner great to deal with and very friendly. We will be back for sure!

This was an excellent home to relax and enjoy PEI.

Great property. Chris is a great host and was available when needed. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 children ranging from 4 to 11. The home is very spacious which allowed use to spread out and allowed for great family time together. We will definitely consider staying here again and highly recommend this home for other travellers.

Fabulous family vacation

I just returned from an amazing family vacation at sandy toes. The house was the perfect location for our family with 7 adults and two almost 1 yr olds. The house was clean, and modern, with convenient amenities (a well stocked kitchen, a crib and high chair etc). We happened to be there during hurricane Dorian and lost power for 24 hrs. Chris was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed both before and after the storm to ensure our comfort. Thank you for a wonderful stay, our family will remember this trip for years to come.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre vacances. La propreté de la maison était super. 10 adultes et tous étaient confortables. Chris était toujours disponible . Même si on ne vois pas la mer de la maison, nous pouvions y accéder à quelques minutes de marche.. Nous y retournerons certainement!!!

Celebrating 50th Anniversary in PEI

Our family of six adults and four grandsons ages four to ten had a blast in PEI. The home was clean,well equipped and spacious. The boys had an extra large yard to play in with equipment or venture in to small woods. It was a short walk to an amazing beach to walk ,play and enjoy an amazing sunset.Small negative was that there was not a good ocean view.It was convenient to everything. Only recommendation would be to add a few Kleenex boxes. Owner Chris, was a real nice guy.

Everything we hoped for!

Sandy Toes Vacation Home is beautiful, spacious and well-equipped. It is just a short walk away from a lovely south-shore beach. We were 10 people and lived comfortably for 2-3 weeks. The kids loved the toys, backyard playground and large backyard. Chris was extremely hospitable and accommodating. He even brought us extra dining room chairs to accommodate our large group. Chris was always available to help us if we needed anything. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a vacation home in PEI.

I am a signal father of two amazing kids that has lived in this area my whole life. My family has a long history here going back generations as local farmers and potato producers.

Why they chose this property

This home is located on one of if not the best beach on the south shore. Beautiful tidal pools to play in, safe from the rip currants and undertows that you would find on the north shore and the waters on the south shore are much warmer.
The house is situated on over 2 acres of land with a very large yard and wooded area for the kids to play.
