Outstanding week

I took a chance on somewhere different for our family this year and struck gold. We travel alot as a family and all agreed thus was a 10 out of 10 vacation. We've done everything from beach and cruises to camping and overseas vacations. The resort and cabin were spectacular. We mainly went for the hiking and relaxation but found the touristy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge very charming for short visits. Everyone wants to go back, next time for longer.

Family time in the Smokies

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time at On Eagles Wing. y husband and I and our daughter, her husband and 3 children all came from Texas. We immediately fell in love with the cabin, and the views. There was quiet time on the balcony, along with video games, pool and air hockey for the kids. There was internet access, as my daughter had to do a quick zoom for work. We loved the near by pool and the hot tub on the deck. The kitchen was equipped for us o have dinner together each night. I loved that it was near to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge activities, but out of the traffic and hustle and bustle of all the tourist.Any questions we had before or during our stay, the management was quick to respond to. We would love to come again sometime/ We made memories for a lifetime, I hope our grandchildren will always remember.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was a good size and provided a lovely view of the mountains. Overall the cabin was in good condition and the huge bath was lovely. Sadly several issues i.e. the windows needed cleaning, the downstairs bedroom blind was broken which meant we could not fully appreciate the view from this room, the hot tub caused a constant vibration in the downstairs bedroom, the pool room was too small to be able to use the cues properly, the external timber on the sides of the cabin had peeling paint, there was too much light pollution to enjoy the stars at night and the litter on the ground behind the cabin detracted from the overall setting. It would have been useful to also have a kettle in the kitchen. We had to boil water on the stove for hot drinks like tea and hot chocolate.

Spectacular Views!

The cabin was very clean, and it was so nice to have all the amenities of home with plenty of space for two families. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The views from the cabin were breathtaking, even more so than the pictures showed on line. The location was close to everything we did, including Dollywood, Forbidden Caverns, Gatlinburg, and The Island. We have already started talking about when we will go back! I would recommend this to everyone.

Everything was as described with the exception of the hand mixer and jacuzzi tub in the Master bath not working. Not sure if it was the outlet that didn't work when we plugged in the hand mixer, or if it was the hand mixer itself. The jacuzzi tub would not start once the water was filled in the tub. We enjoyed our stay and family time together. I will probably rent again in the future b/c the location is great and the views are spectacular.

Disappointed With On Eagles Wings

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was dirty and not well maintained. The floors did not appear to have been moped in a long time. We called as soon as we arrived about several issues and someone came out to reclean the cabin. It was still dirty after they left. The hot tub cover was coming apart and getting styrofoam in the water. Someone changed the cover but did not clean the tub. The towels were old, cheap, small, and very thin. I expected better from a place as expensive as this.

Good Location and Great View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location,within minutes to everything we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge. Everything in the cabin was same as described, no surprises. The view was fantastic, could sit and watch sunrise and sunsets from deck. Only a few minor things need to be addressed. Hot tub on the deck needs to be cleaned and serviced. Shower in one bathroom had mold. Both minor things but worth noting. Would stay On Eagles Wings again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was very clean and comfortable for three adults and three kids. It was conveniently located near Dollywood and Gatlinburg. It had good reviews, and we were pleased to see that they were accurate. The kids would've been content playing the arcade game, air hockey and pool had we just decided to stay inside for the time we visited. Unlike some vacation rentals, this one felt like it had modern updates (like flat screen tv's in almost every room) and having three king sized beds made us extremely comfortable during our stay. It had a great mountain view, as well! We had a great experience, and plan to rent this cabin again.

Reviewer Comments: We celebrated our parents 50th wedding anniversary here and some things that were important included a clean rental with a magnificent view, and with On Eagle's Wings that is just what we got. A lovely cabin with a great view. It is well appointed inside with very comfortable beds with plenty of linens and towels for our stay. The layout of the property follows the description provided and both Soley and Grace were easy to work with and responded to questions quickly. Check procedures were easy as well. We enjoyed Cades Cove and went to the Dixie Stampede which was great fun! We would love to return someday!

Fantastic cabin

Very nicely decorated, updated, clean, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved every day in this cabin. The views are spectacular and beautiful. The area is private enough (no neighbors looking in on you or on your deck), but is easily accessible and within 15 minutes of the center of Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, beautiful, and convenient place!
