History is alive and well at this riverside loft in New Castle, a beautifully restored space in the very heart of town. The joys and conveniences of Main Street are all around you, yet you'll never be far from nature here with lovely views of the Colorado River and the surrounding mountains from your second-floor deck.
This historically designated building dates back to 1895, with thoughtful renovations completed in 2000 and 2022. As for the town, New Castle has it all. Go fishing or floating in the Colorado River, hop across the street to the Chamber of Commerce to find out about local happenings, golf Lakota Links (three miles), or take a drive over to Glenwood Springs (12 miles). Skiing, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, orchard-hopping - it's all at your doorstep.
Begin each day outside on the deck, sipping a cup of coffee and counting the train cars that pass you by. Inside, an atmospheric space awaits, full of interesting architecture, lofty ceilings, large windows, and unique styling. When you're not strolling out to dinner and drinks in town, you'll have your own well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room for movie nights.
In addition to the bedroom, there's a screened sleeping space on the opposite side of the loft. Please note that there's no washer/dryer, but a jetted bathtub and complimentary WiFi are on hand to make your stay all the more comfortable.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
