Our address is 141 Lake Shore Drive located in the close knit community of the Taconic Shores Property Owners Association. We are tucked in the Hamlet of Copake, where miles of farmland border this mid-century agricultural town. We ask that all guests please be respectful to the neighbors and do not speed on their roads. At the beginning of each stay a Renters Agreement must be signed per the community’s request. We hope you find our home to be accommodating, please treat it as if it were your own.
Our home is fully furnished with the necessities for a comfortable stay. The entire house has good WiFi coverage, and each room has WiFi extenders to make connections even smoother. Each Bedroom has a mini split with heat and cooling options that can be set individually to suit all preferences.
The front yard allows three vehicles to park off the road, with room for two in the driveway and one parallel to the road. Our front porch has a seating area, which is a lovely spot to watch the sunset. My family and I had a wonderful stay. It was our first trip to New York and the cottage did not dissapoint. The place was very well decorated, with comfortable furniture and beds, as well as easy to use, new appliances. We really loved sitting in the screen room each morning to enjoy coffee, along with watching the water and wildlife. The hosts were excellent throughout the entire prosess. If you are looking for a relaxing place or a home base to explore rural New York, or the Berkshires, this is the place. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful get away!
My family (my father, sister, husband, 6 year old, 4 year old and 8 month old) recently stayed at this adorable house. It is the ideal rental. Everything is new and very clean, clearly labeled and accessible. The amenities seem endless. From a keurig to all shower and bath essentials, we found pretty much anything we needed. Beds and couches were very comfortable and there are plenty of places to relax outside. I will say that if you are traveling with young kids, the backyard can be challenging because it is quite steep heading down to the water. My kids had a fun time playing in the front yard with the sidewalk chalk that was provided. This place was wonderful and we will happily stay here again if we are in the area.
