Recently remodeled, cozy, comfortable furniture and beds. 1/2 block off Harrison Ave. (mainstreet) means an easy walk to dining and shopping! In the morning, head up to City on a Hill coffee shop and get caffeinated for a day of mountain fun! Our large front deck is a great spot to lounge in the sun with a cold beer at the end of a full day, meet people or just watch the world go by. Large back deck has great mountain views, gas bbq, and direct southern exposure. In the winter, walk to dinner or grab a movie in any kind of weather! The house is close enough to downtown resturants that the cold mountain air won't even have time to sink in before you are sitting down to a nice steak! Watch the snow fall from the big picture window in the living room. Make family memories playing games and cooking dinner in our newly remodeled and fully stocked kitchen. We left a few Victorian details, like original stained glass and the one dining room wall that depicts the original wood from 1888 when the house was built! The house once had 4 coal buring stoves~the old chiminies remain, but the house is now heated with trusty forced air! In the remodel, we found old sewing patterns stuffed in the walls for insulation and cigarette boxes hidden up in the bathroom, both of which are on display in the house.
We have one security camera ( w/audio) on the property and it is located outside the front door and faces the street.
