Enjoy the beauty and playfulness of Santa Cruz in this modern beach house (permit 211112) two blocks away from Sunny Cove. Recently renovated, this home includes three bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, two lofts, two full bathrooms, and living room. The indoor setting has a cozy layout with a fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and a dining space. The outdoor living space is a real delight with a stunning Brazilian hardwood deck complete with a large hot tub, BBQ grill, gas fire pit, and outdoor dining.

The home is a short walk to four gorgeous beaches including Sunny Cove, Mo's, Blacks Beach, and others, Starbucks, and great dining options. Beach chairs and beach toys, boogie boards, etc. provided for ocean fun. Come relax at the ocean and among the redwoods!

The property includes parking for 2-3 vehicles. It also comes with a 75" TV in the living room, washer and dryer, linens and towels, high-speed internet (200 Mbps+) and room for up to 6 adults.

Love this place!

This house is so nice! Everything you need in it as well! The back deck and hot tub are so welcoming and the fire pit was amazing! Quiet neighborhood yet close to beach and a few restaurants making for a perfect location. Owner very nice as well! I can’t wait to rent this place again!

Well appointed & Welcoming

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully appointed with a great supply of games, puzzles, and books. Everything you need is on hand. Our hosts communicated effectively and we appreciated the generous welcome basket. The patio and hot tub are delightful. 10/10 recommend.

No issues, would stay again

Hosts were very communicative and sent us highlights of things to do well ahead of our arrival. Property was clean and definutely the most well stocked of all the rentals we've stayed at in terms of things like cleaning supplies, paper towels, toiletries, etc. Hosts checked in on us after arrival to make sure all was well. Kitchen was well stocked with basic utensils, spices, and so forth. There wasn't a vegetetable steamer but we made do. Not sure how many others would need that! Great remodel on a 1940s property that made it very modern and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, no issues, we would absolutely stay again, nd would reccommend.

Wonderful Quick Getaway

Such a lovely little gem in Santa Cruz...can't wait to come back when it's a bit warmer and we can use that fantastic window to the back deck. Hot tub was great and firepit was such a nice feature especially with its size. Hosts were very accomodating! Thanks for a great birthday weekend for our daughter <3

Gorgeous Well Appointed Home!

This home is exactly as pictured! Also, the many reviews are spot on! This is a great find in a fabulous location. The owners have put tremendous attention to detail and has everything you could want in a beach house. The outdoor fire pit was amazing and the hot tub top notch!

Great Stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property, which was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beaches, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. Our kids especially loved the lofts, which added a fun and cozy touch to our stay. Great place for a family hang :)

My family loved staying here. Living areas spill out into the awesome deck outside, making a great place for some grilling and chilling. Two bedrooms are right next to one bathroom, and the master bedroom and bathroom are on the other side, so everyone gets their privacy at night. We would definitely book it again.

A Cozy and Relaxing Staycation in Santa Cruz

UCSC SOCCER TRIP

The house is just like all the pictures and in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Property shows the owners take pride in this property. Kitchen is equip with high quality pots and pans. BBQ is great and we used the jacuzzi everyday. I highly recommend this home for a wonderful stay in Santa Cruz. The owners are easy to contact and we loved our weekend visit.

Great modern ,near to beach, nice vacation house, we will be back

We loved 95% of everything about this stay and we will be back. The vibe and location and design details were great!! Two suggestions: pls leave a print out of the instructions for check out & also maybe leave a swifter or similar for guests to go over floors (we found the floors not as clean as we like, our white socks collected a lot of dirt even on the first night … we normally prefer to take off shoes at home, but unfortunately could not here )

Perfect Little Getaway Spot

I did a weekend at this property with my spouse and another couple (and their 1 year old). It was the perfect layout for our group. The place was extremely clean and the outdoor area was ideal for lounging around all weekend. It is a short walk to the beach which made it easy, too. I highly recommend this rare modern spot in Santa Cruz!

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Not only did it have great amenities for the adults but there were plenty of toys to keep the kids occupied too. The backyard was our favorite area, especially the fire pit and the hot tub. We loved our stay and appreciated the welcome goodies!

We are a family of six (four children ages 9-14) and we love living in Santa Cruz. Our family is originally from Oahu, Hawaii and Santa Cruz feels like home. The beauty here is unparalleled with the redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains and the miles of ocean coast to visit.

We have traveled the world using VRBO and love to host others as they look to explore all that Santa Cruz has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on a quiet, convenient neighborhood on the east side of Santa Cruz with a city park right around the block for kids. It is a 10 minute drive to the wharf and boardwalk (15-20 min. during summer traffic). There are a number of grocery stores within a 5-10 minute drive (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Safeway). You'll find yourself a five minute drive to world class surf at Pleasure Point break, "The Hook", "38th", "Sharks", "26th", etc.
