Condo located in a great location and heated garage is a major plus!
My wife and our two children enjoyed 4 nights in this Keystone condo. The condo is located right in the River Run village, so you’re just steps away from the River Run gondola or all the restaurants and shops nearby. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals while staying. The lodge itself was nice and included parking in a heated parking garage which was great during the snowy conditions. We were concerned about some reviews which noted how uncomfortable the beds were, but no one from our group complained at all. One issue we did run into was the winter storm that hit while we were staying and we were advised to stay off the roads by the local news. When we received this information we reached out to the property management company (PMI) to determine if we could check out later to give the roads time to clear or if we could stay another night in the property or a property nearby. Unfortunately, PMI uses a call center for any guest services and that call center was very unhelpful. So though the property really was great, if you get in a bind or need any support while there, you will not be able to get into touch with anyone that is aware of local conditions or can help you. With the right host and support, this would be a 5 star property.

Great stay!
We enjoyed this fabulous property! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and it was so convenient to the ski lifts. It was well stocked with bedding, towels and everything else we needed. Loved the fire place and comfy chairs!

Great location
Such a fun place to stay! Super close to the gondola and plenty of shopping/food options right outside your door. The building was quite cute and cozy. The room was as expected based on pictures and others reviews. Could it use a little love? Probably. But for the price, it was a good value. My sole complaint is that the bed is SO hard that both my daughter and I had trouble sleeping. If I stayed there again, I would bring a mattress topper with me. There are conflicting instructions regarding both how to check in and check out. Make sure to follow instructions from PMI on where to get the keys. They are located in a lockbox in Dillon, which is why I decided to rent a car vs. take a shuttle. For this reason, I really appreciated the available underground parking. I heeded the check out instructions from a text they sent prior to my last day, and that seemed to be acceptable. All in all, I was very pleased with both the accommodations and the level of communication from the property managers.

Great location close to the slopes
Pros: this is about the closest you can stay to the bottom of the main gondola at Keystone. Just a few steps from shops and restaurants. We felt like we got a good value and would probably stay here again. Cons: The unit is ready for a bit of TLC. The carpet needs to be replaced. The unit smells a bit like cigar smoke. Mattresses on bed and murphy bed are uncomfortably firm and could use an upgrade. The unit needs more pillow options for the beds and linens for the pillows.

Beautiful, cozy lodge in a great location
Communication was good, property management got back to us right away with our questions and concerns. Had 1 locker key, we misplaced it for a short time. Called property management, were told 8am, someone would be there with another. Our concern was that we wanted to be on the slopes by open at 8:30 am. They assured us that someone would be at our door at 8am. 2 more were dropped off at 10:10am. When we called that morning they said "oh, he's running behind". Very disappointing as we only had 4 days to ski. Had 6 Jackpine building keys in our room, 3 worked and 3 didn't we quickly found out (when some of us were locked out). Check in process was ridiculous! Had emails sent stating "important, please read" told us to go to a wooden box at Blackbear to find our room keys. Followed all directions, that sent us on a wild goose chase. Contacted property management as we couldn't find the keys. They got us to another location about 6 miles away where we found room keys in a lockbox at some credit union or insurance company. Very strange! When I spoke to the man from property management told us, "oh those are old emails, you don't need to do that any longer (About tracking the keys down in the wooden box at Blackbear) Those emails shouldn't have gone out". Extremely frustrating with a day of travel under our belts and 3 kids in the car! Got an email the night before check out stating that we needed to drop our room keys off where we got them (6 miles away). We actually left after skiing the night before to stay with family in Denver, closer to airport as our flight was 6am. This email was received after we checked out. We left keys on dining room table instead. We were surprised to see that we were instructed to drop the keys somewhere that wasn't even on property and miles away. The cleanliness was not great. No mattress pad on the king bed. Just a fitted sheet. Found out after removing all prior to leaving. Salt, pepper, honey etc in a cupboard above the refrigerator, didn't find for 2 days. Broken blinds, board games were there but broken and missing pieces, a cabinet door in kitchen wouldn't close and we tripped or banged legs multiple times on it. The location and coziness of this property can't be beat. The attention to detail and organization by the management company was less than desirable.

Best Location in Keystone
The building seems good and the location cannot be beat for a ski vacation. The house was well furnished and had plenty of space for our group of three. I think you could easily make this space work with a family/group of 4 or even 6. There were some nice touches like humidifiers and space heaters that we used as well. King size bed in the master is a nice touch and hard to find in a rental. The hot tub downstairs was easy and convenient, as were the ski lockers. Literally cannot get closer to the gondola than this building which was awesome, especially since we were skiing with a 7 year old. The negatives: - Our TV/internet did not work for the duration of our stay. This was not a huge deal but it would have been nice to watch TV for a little bit in the evenings. We could use the neighbor wifi but they were spotty at best. I mentioned this to the management company multiple times and got no help. - This is super minor, but there was no shampoo. I guess we should have brought our own but most places have it. - The king bed was quite firm. A cheap pillow-top mattress cover would go a long way. - The check-in process is a bit confusing if you don't know your way around Keystone. The management company helped walk me through it but it's not exactly simple. I would suggest some sort of more detailed guide (with pictures!) to help guests in the future - though it's possible it's just me that struggled... :) None of this would keep me from staying in this unit again. In fact, I would 100% stay in this unit again and will definitely look to see if it is available when we come back next year.

Great Condo in Village of Keystone
We enjoyed the condo during our stay. The furnishings are nice and the heated parking was fantastic. The check in instructions need to be updated to let you know that the address for picking up keys can’t be accessed by car and you have to try and find parking (difficult) and walk. We also had a problem with the gas fireplace not working. I called number provided (9am-5pm) at 9:15am and was told someone would call me back. Instead what I got was multiple text messages asking questions and telling me to dismantle the fireplace to try and fix myself. When I told them I was not comfortable nor had the tools I was told someone would come out to fix. They showed up at 7:15pm telling me it was their day off as to why they were late. Disappointing. The blinds (mentioned on other reviews) are broken and you can not open and close several without pulling all the way up or down.

My husband and I stayed in this condo in the days leading up to our wedding at Timber Ridge in Keystone. The bridesmaids and I used the place to get ready (fair warning: the property does not have a full length mirror, but we bought a cheap one from Target and the bathroom has a large mirror). The unit itself is exactly as pictured, and the high ceilings and multiple windows provide lots of natural light. The location is in the heart of River Run Village and steps away from the gondola. We absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

Great location , nice unit. Couple of the passkey cards didn’t work and the Murphy bed leg was bent, nothing that the owners can’t quivkly address. We’d stay there again.

Comfortable and convenient
Our condo was cozy and perfect for our stay! My son loved the Murphy bed. The ski lockers were convenient and it was so nice to have such a short walk to the gondola and so many convenient dining and shopping options. There were a few minor issues - some of the blinds didn’t open and the gas fireplace sometimes wouldn’t light - but none of that really detracted from our stay - we would gladly come back to this JackPine condo!

Good location with some disappointments
Great location right by the ski lift and right in town. We rented this condo because it was supposed to be a little home. The dishwasher did not work, which was an inconvience as we cook a lot. Also, anytime we walked in or out of the bathroom we would step on the metal carpet strip, and the carpets seemed like they have not been washed in years. For the amount of money this place costs... there were some things that need to be fixed.

Great space
We have a family of 5 and this place had ample amount of space. Good location in River Run Village and quiet enough to get away from the activities. Just a few steps away from the gondola too! Will definitely consider renting this again for our next ski trip.

Perfect location, nice condo
The location of this condo could not be better! Just steps to the village and gondola make it very convenient, as well as the easily accessible heated garage. For a one bedroom, it provided plenty of space for our group of five for cooking dinners and playing board games after a day on the slopes. Will stay here again!

Awesome "Property!"
Awesome things about our VRBO Trip: · The Condo was Fantastic!!! Everything we could need, clean, comfortable, and accessible to everything fun to do in River Run at Keystone! · Communication Regarding our planned stay was Super…up to the Day Prior (Thursday)…of our Stay. o In fact we were given the option to arrive 4 hours earlier for check in which we were appreciative of and accepted via text. We had a Great Time in spite of things that could have gone better on our VRBO Trip: · Communication from the Management Company (Book By Owner in Dillon, CO) was lacking on the day of arrival (Friday): o Upon arrival our key for access to the garage and the building was not in the lockbox. * 8 calls (2 messages left): No options were available through the Call Tree…The message simply stated “Book By Owner, Not available.” * We left 2 Series of text messages with no response. o We waited for someone to enter the building in which our condo was located and followed them in with the hope we could get to our unit okay and use the keyless entry. We did not feel good about doing this as it seemed inappropriate, but felt we had no choice at this point due to the lack of response. · Communication from the Management Company on the second day of our stay (Saturday): o By noon I had not received a call. I left a message asking for a return call. * This time there were Call Tree menu options when calling the support number I was provided. I choose option 4 for “Services.” * I received a call back from the Management Company at 1:45 PM. All in all, I write very few reviews. My last review was short and sweet on a VRBO experience in Oregon. The experience in Oregon overall was Super and the person responsible for communicating with us was kind, helpful, and prompt. I’m sorry I can’t say the same about the communication experience on this trip. The trouble was frustrating (and more involved than I have captured here), this was supposed to be a Relaxing Birthday Getaway…and I found myself apologizing for the inconvenience on Friday multiple times to my boyfriend, because I felt bad about the experience for his Birthday Weekend.

Well appointed & convenient
This one bedroom condo is completely charming with tree top views, the sounds on the nearby river, and convenient location in the village. It was perfect for two adults & well appointed with comforts of home (fans, humidifier, plenty of linens, toiletries, etc). Great communication & easy access for the check in & check out process. We really enjoyed our summer stay & all that Keystone and the surrounding area had to offer. We even had an unexpected wildlife sighting from the balcony of the condo as a moose made his way through the quiet village in the late afternoon. Really neat!

It was perfect for our family. It had plenty of room for us & our 3 adult children.
We loved the convenience of being able to ski for a while, come back to the condo for a little rest, & go back out to ski some more. It was well furnished, & had everything we needed. When we arrived, the key for the ski lockers was not in the condo. When I called the emergency number they told us it had been taken by the previous renters, & that there were no extra key. We were told that we would have to bring our skis into our condo. Later that day, the previous renter brought the key, so we were able to use the lockers after all. However, in the meantime it was a little frustrating having all of our skis in the condo with us. Apart from that frustration, this would be given 5 stars.
