About this property

FULLER CAMP + Riverside + Swimming Hole - Surrounded by Private Property

ABOUT THE CAMP
Fuller Camp (Big Camp) was built by great-grandfather Fuller in 1917. Take a step back in time when you walk through the front door of this historical timber-frame camp that sits on the granite banks of the Baker River that flows down from Mt Moosilauke, one of the beautiful mountains in the White Mountain National Forest.

Grampa Fuller chose well when he built the Fuller Camps (Big Camp & Little Camp) on two of the best swimming holes on the Baker River, surrounded by 195 acres of land. On a sunny day, the rocks are hot, the water is cool, and the waterfalls give you a massage. Jump off the rocks into the 12+ feet deep swimming hole or play in the sand and river rocks at the low end of the pool. Better than any pool, the natural crystal-clear water is refreshing for hours of fun in the sun.

The swimming hole is surrounded by private property and you'll have this beautiful spot all to yourself. However, please note that rivers are by law under "public trust" and landowners can not own water. So, although rare, you may see a passerby, fisherman, or adventurist walking the riverbed during your stay.

Over the years the huge great room has served our guests in many ways. Busseling with laughter and excitable chatter, playing charades, singing and having fun with family talent shows or skits, playing cards, board games, or reading out loud. Spending cool summer evenings around the grand stone fireplace sharing family stories roasting marshmallows and making S'mores.

You'll also enjoy the quietness of camp, a place to disconnect from the outside world. Enjoy yoga, painting, coloring or crafting, puzzles, reading a good book or newspaper, or drifting off for an afternoon nap under the sunny window bench or porch hammock with only the sounds of the babbling river outside.

CELL SERVICE
NO VERIZON cell Service.
AT&T has LIMITED cell service for checking emails and calls only in a few locations, it is not strong enough to stream movies or social media.

WIFI - The camp has no wifi.

HEAT -Fuller Camp (Big Camp) is a seasonal timber frame camp with no insulation or heat.

TWO CAMPS ON PROPERTY
The Fuller Camp Property has two camps, referred to as "Big Camp" and "Little Camp".

MICRO WEDDINGS & EVENTS
Inquire for more information and pricing for small events.

Both camps share the driveway but have separate buildings, with separate decks, porches, and swimming holes, although the river is under "public trust" and can be used by the public. Inquire about renting both camps for the entire family or friends to come and play!

PARKING: Big Camp has 3 parking spots in the driveway and an overflow parking lot for more vehicles if needed, inquire for more information.

Host profile image
I am a wife, good friend, mother of 3 amazing boys, and passionate about community and traveling. So, it only makes sense that I make my living doing what I love -- bringing families and friends together in celebration and creating memorable experiences.

My official work titles are event planner & designer, vacation/retreat host, and personal chef. I am a local - to this area and grew up in the White Mountains of Warren/Wentworth NH.

For over 20 years I've been planning and hosting events, creating a relaxing and fun environment for those who visit our small country town. In addition to my homeland, for the past 8+ years, I have been traveling to Costa Rica -- planning yoga and other retreats on the beaches and rainforests of this beautiful country.

Why they chose this property

Warren is surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest which offers so much to do by way of nature -- hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, swimming, boating, and fishing just to name a few. I love hiking in the woods and kayaking on the water. I love star gazing at the night sky and taking in the sunshine and breathtaking mountains that surround us.

What makes this property unique

What is most unique about Fuller Camp is the one-of-a-kind swimming hole surrounded by private property on a 175-acre family estate. Enjoy lounging on the rocks and jumping in the crisp, clear mountain water. This property embodies the full "River Camp Experience" and has been a summer retreat for many families, for many years.
