Welcome to the apartment at Wellriver Retreat!

Discover the perfect home base for exploring the stunning White Mountains! This charming 2nd floor, 1-bedroom apartment, attached to a larger home, features a private entrance and deck with picturesque views of the yard, pond, and mountains. Enjoy access to the property's frontage along the serene Pemi River. Inside are a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, desk space, spacious bedroom with queen size bed, full bathroom, and laundry room. Parking is available for one car.

Nestled on the banks of the Pemi River in the heart of the White Mountains, the property offers something to do for everyone:

★ Relax on the deck with a good book
★ Sip a cup of coffee in one of the Adirondack chairs overlooking the river
★ Throw on a bathing suit and cool off in the river
★ Head out for a day of skiing at one of several nearby mountains

Just 7 miles from Loon Mountain and close to additional skiing resorts, golf courses, hiking trails, and snowmobiling routes, there's plenty to do nearby year round if you decide to venture off the property.

A private road leads you to a picturesque 10 acre property. The private entrance to the apartment is behind the garage up an exterior flight of stairs.

A clearing at the river's edge offers adirondack chairs and a small fire pit. River levels vary often based on rainfall and season; most of the time it's easy to climb down to a small rocky beach for access to wade, swim or float.

The apartment offers a private retreat with one bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, full bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, living room with sofa and TV, workspace and small deck.

Guest access

Guests have access to the parking space next to the left side of the garage and exclusive use of the private stairway and balcony leading to the apartment. There is one locked closet space in the apartment. The main area of the backyard is reserved for use of the main house but guests of the apartment are welcome to head to the end of the driveway and enjoy shared use of the river front with chairs and fire pit down our private dirt road.

A few things to note:

• We offer a limited starter supply of cleaning and paper goods and ask that guests supply their own firewood; please bring along anything you think you may need
• The main house is separate and may be occupied during your stay. While you're welcome to use the laundy room downstairs, it is shared with the main house, and access to the garage is as an emergency exit only.
• Please purchase travel insurance to protect your trip as we do honor our cancellation policy
• We love to share our favorite spots with guests and hope you create some of the same memories here that we have! To keep our home and the neighborhood safe and available for everyone to enjoy, we require guests to follow some basic house rules. By booking the property, you agree to and acknowledge having read all House Rules (including under "More").
