This property was advertised as having the whole space to ourselves. You get a single bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom to yourself. This is located within a multi-bedroom/bath house with 2 floors, plus a basement. You have access to the kitchen and living space. Our first was that info to enter the house was not provided until I messaged the host a couple hours before getting to the place. Thankfully they answered fairly quickly, but instructions were not clear. The host spoke English as a second language, which made communication challenging. Our second issue was that the heat was on in the house when we arrived and there was no air conditioning. It was 25 degrees outside every day we stayed there, so staying cool inside was not even an option. Thankfully they provided a fan for the bedroom, but we were still boiling, being used to sleeping in a cool room. The bed, in addition, was old and we could feel the springs through the mattress. The third, and most concerning issue, was that on the second day, we discovered that there was in fact someone in the house with us. We encountered them unexpectedly, so we reached out to the host. All they had to say was that it was a friend who was taking a break during work, at the host's house. I communicated that this was unacceptable, but all the host did was say 'sorry, won't happen again.' We don't recommend this place, and won't be staying here again.
