About this property
Newly refurbished 4 bedroom house on the waterfront in historic Fortrose
For those looking for a little luxury and a true Highlands experience, Linden House is the place for you. Nestled on the banks of the Moray Firth, within walking distance to the centre of Fortrose, Linden House is a newly refurbished, four bedroom and four bathroom - two of which are ensuite - property. Perfect for golfers - within easy reach of Royal Dornoch, Cabot Highlands (previously Castle Stuart), Nairn and the James Braid courses of Fortrose and Rosemarkie, Golspie and Brora. Perfect for those interested in history - with Culloden Moor, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle and Urqhart Castle and the Jacobite Cruises on Loch Ness are all a fairly short drive. Perfect for hikers - or munro baggers - the Cairngorms are 40 miles away. Ben Wyvis is just to the North. Perfect for cyclists with great trails both mountain bike and road bike. Perfect for foodies - the food is fabulous all over the Black Isle. Why wait?
There are black out curtains or blinds in all bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms upstairs. There is another bathroom with a deep tub and a further shower room for those coming off the water. The property is secluded by the water at the front and hedges and trees all around.
There is a separate laundry room with a brand new washing machine and dryer. In the kitchen - rare to Scotland is a pot filler for easy water filling of any size of pots.
The boiler and all radiators are brand new and are of the highest efficiency. The vellux windows upstairs offer fabulous views of the Moray Firth morning and night - hopefully too of the Northern Lights.
