A peaceful and romantic architectural gem -Dripping Springs/ Austin

This rare, one-of-a-kind custom built casita is tucked away in a grove of trees on six acres in the Texas Hill Country between Austin (25 minutes to downtown) and Dripping Springs (15 minutes away). It's the perfect place if you want a peaceful getaway or to explore the Texas Hill Country, It is close to area wineries, distilleries, breweries, wedding venues, as well as outdoor destinations. We live on the property, but you can be assured that the casita feels secluded and private.
This home was designed and built by a talented craftsman with high attention to detail, design and comfort. Natural light fills every room with its wall-to-wall french doors and large windows. There are vaulted ceilings, pecan wood flooring & custom cabinetry through-out. The art collection of original paintings and photography make the space warm and inviting. The living room has a comfortable couch and wall inset 40” HDTV with cable. There is a nice stereo with CD and DVD player. A desk is provided. High speed internet 350+ MBPS.
The romantic bedroom has an organic Naturepedic king sized bed that overlooks the countryside. There is a walk-in closet with shelving and hanging space for your convenience. We provide soft robes for your stay.
The bathroom shower is glass tile with a door inside the shower area to the outdoors so you can have an indoor/outdoor shower experience on a nice day or evening.
Outdoors: The porch is the full length of the house and overlooks a meadow. There you will find rocking chairs, a small two person al fresco dining area, and the hot tub. This is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, bird watch, and star gaze. A gas grill and an outdoor fire-pit are provided.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The use of the fire pit is subject to Travis County Burn Ban restrictions.

Cleaning fee- $150 2 weeks or longer $200
Rates are for 2 people. A third guest will be charged $25 per day.
The couch can be used as bed if needed to accommodate a third person.
Washer and dryer access are for guests staying 5 nights or longer. Please read all of the HOUSE RULES before booking.
