Welcome to Royal Kahana 1004. This 10th floor studio offers ocean & surrounding island views. Tastefully decorated with classic tropical decor. This studio features a king size bed & a twin sleeper sofa, accommodating 3 guests. The updated kitchen & bathroom features quartz countertops. Keep cool with central AC year round. The resort offers many amenities & located in a great area close to food truck park, farmers market, shops, & dining. This condo is fully equipped & ready to make amazing Maui memories.
The layout:
Common area: Fully equipped kitchen with upgraded quartz countertops, dining table for 2 people, Smart TV with cable, King size bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with usb chargers, TV with cable, ceiling fan, and sliding lanai door access that leads to lanai. There is a digital safe for your use. There is also a closet with beach gear which consists of beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler for your use.
Bathroom: accessible from bedroom or living room and features walk in shower, quartz countertop single sink vanity, fresh towels, and luxury organic bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha.
Lanai: Table for 2 with a beautiful ocean view
Stay Aloha provides a generous essentials starter kit. This includes laundry, luxury organic bath, and kitchen essentials. We do not drop extra. There is an Aloha welcome gift for you upon arrival as well.
***There is construction going on at this resort for stucco repair on the building. It does not disrupt any of the amenities like pool, fitness center, lobby, elevators, etc.***
The Royal Kahana has a beachfront swimming pool, beachfront BBQ area, complete on-site fitness room, ping pong table, shuffleboard, and an onsite Activities Center/Concierge. Across the street is Kahana Gateway Center, a small shopping center with restaurants such as the Maui Brewing Company. McDonalds, Whaler's convenience store, a gas station, a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and ATMS are also located in the Center.
Parking:
Please keep in mind that while we do not charge a resort fee as most on Maui are now charging; the resort has implemented a parking fee that is payable upon check-in at the resort. The fee is as follows:
For the first 30 days $18.00 per day plus taxes
For 31+ days the fee is $10.00 per day plus taxes.
Beach information
*The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our HOA, The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.
This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may not be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance. Photos taken on 1/16/2023 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.
NO BOOKING FEES!
We do have a $50 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in damage for our guests. Accidents happen and we have you covered.
PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world.
Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. *We make no guarantee that properties around to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic, or other guests. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this rental or give guest any right to any refund, or rental adjustment.
