Bordering Eldred nature preserve and close to the Catskill’s top attractions, this is the perfect hub for a relaxing retreat or adventurous getaway.

The Space:
We've created a space that we had a lot of trouble finding ourselves when traveling - somewhere both family AND pet-friendly. With 3 dogs and a babe of our own, we understand how hard it can be to find getaways for our pups too so we decided to make one! We’re excited to share our getaway with you all. You’ll find that because we still use our house part-time, there’s a much cozier and homey feel!

This beautifully-maintained home comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across three spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The main house boasts a large living room with a stone fireplace and a formal dining area fit for entertaining. There is also an office space with a conference table for a productive remote work hub.
Step outside to enjoy the expansive wood deck, fit with a propane grill, charcoal grill, outdoor seatings, and Breeo fire pit which overlook the spacious and secluded backyard surrounded by stunning forest views. Venture into the yard and gather around a separate larger bonfire-style fire pit to stargaze and roast marshmallows alongside the woods.

Sleeping arrangements include:
- Bedroom 1: 1 king bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed
- Bedroom 3: 1 pull out trundle bed that becomes king
- Office space: 1 queen sized air mattress

The Neighborhood:
Eldred is a small town rich with natural beauty and activities, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and families:
- Hiking and Biking Trails: Explore local trails which are suitable for all ages. The terrain is generally easy to moderate, perfect for family or group excursions.
- River Activities: The Delaware River offers opportunities for gentle rafting or tubing.
- Fishing and Boating: Highland Lake, Lake Superior State Park, and various smaller lakes nearby offer freshwater fishing, boating, and picnic areas.
- Eagle Watching: During the winter months, Eldred becomes a prime spot for eagle watching with several eagle observation areas are set up along the river
- Berry Picking and Farm Visits: Seasonal berry picking and visits to local farms.
- Eldred Preserve: Offering beautiful indoor and outdoor dining options and multiple outdoor activities year-round from hiking to cross country skiing.

Getting Around:
Bringing or renting a car is highly recommended as Uber, Lyft and Taxi service in the area can be extremely limited. Four-wheel drive is encouraged in the winter months for safety on potentially slick and snowy roads.
