The spacious entryway on the ground floor is an ideal spot to unload your outdoor gear before ascending to the main level. Here, you'll find an inviting open living space bathed in warm light through large windows overlooking serene nature views. Curl up on the plush living room furniture as you warm up by the gas stove, or whip up home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Extend your living space outdoors onto the spacious deck, complete with an outdoor table, BBQ grill, and a cozy fire table – perfect for late-night chats under the starry skies.

The 3 well-appointed bedrooms are spread across 2 levels. On the main floor, 1 bedroom features a queen bed, closet, and dresser, while a 2nd bedroom with a twin-over-twin bunk bed is great for sharing. Upstairs, the loft bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with a queen bed, office desk/chair, and a comfy 3-person couch. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo services all bedrooms on the main level.

Enjoy the peaceful mountain life from this home, located in a quiet area surrounded by trees, where you will be immersed in beautiful nature! The home is situated in the town of Soda Springs, with HWY 80 nearby, providing easy access to the surrounding areas. If you are planning a skiing trip, this home is ideal, with multiple ski resorts just a short drive away. For a family-friendly option, visit Donner Ranch Resort or Soda Springs Mountain Resort. Looking for advanced terrain? Sugar Bowl Resort, just 6 miles away, is perfect for you. Or, enjoy night skiing at Boreal Mountain Resort, the only resort in Tahoe offering this unique experience. In the summertime, explore one of the many hiking trails, such as Summit Castle Peak or Andesite Peak. For swimming or water recreation, head over to the community beach, located only a half mile from the home. Guests will also have access to a community beach located just a half mile from the home! There you will find swimming and water recreation on the South bend of the Yuba river. For those with a fishing license, enjoy trout fishing at a swimming hole located about a quarter mile from the home. Make a day out of it by visiting Kings Beach or Tahoe City, where you will find beaches, dining, and entertainment options to enjoy.

Getting Around:
The home is tucked off HWY 80, making it easy to quickly get onto the highway and access the surrounding areas. While there is no public transportation nearby, you can drive to the town of Truckee, about 20 minutes away, where you will find bus routes to Northstar Ski Resort, Kings Beach, and Tahoe City. The home has 3 ski resorts less than 10 miles away, so you can quickly be on the slopes. For those looking for a bit more city life, both Tahoe City and Kings Beach are a 35-minute drive away.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.
• Booking Fee: We charge an additional, non-refundable fee of 2% of the total payment to cover the cost of booking processing.
• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
