Sitting on the famous Duval Street, this spacious one-bedroom property is so relaxing and beautiful that you will never want to leave! The breezy private balcony is a great place to sit and soak up the rising sun as Duval Street buzzes with morning activity. The loft bedroom upstairs features two comfortable queen beds, a 32" flat-screen TV, two large closets, and a shared nightstand with a reading lamp. The sizable living room is adorned with Cuban art in recognition that the property was built in 1917 as a “club” for Cuban cigar makers. The queen sleeper sofa comfortably accommodates two people, allowing La Casa Cubana to sleep 6 people while still remaining competitively priced. The kitchen features a full-sized refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker to do all or none of the cooking while enjoying the island life.

You’ll want to take pictures at the Southernmost Point in the continental United States (only 3.5 blocks away), and fulfill all of your shopping desires at the dozens, if not hundreds, of shops and stores distributed along Duval and the adjoining streets. One block away is Banana Cafe, a fantastic French restaurant for breakfast with crepes, baguettes, and croissants. The sandy shores of South Beach are just 3 blocks away, with the Southernmost Cafe right there for lunch. The best sushi in town is served at Origami, also located one block away. It’s all there for you, so come and enjoy!

Amazing stay

Went down to Key West for a few nights with my parents and had a great time. We checked in late on Tuesday and it was a super easy process. We picked up a welcome packet a few blocks from the rental with the code to get into the building and room. The rental was clean and out of every option we came across it was by far the best bang for your buck. The location on duval street was right in the middle of the action. We didnt hear too much noise from outside, but did hear a lot of slamming doors and some banging around from other rooms in the building. Overall a great stay!

Great location

The condo itself and the location were great. You are extremely close to so many different things. Beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping were all walkable. Having a pool only a block away was nice also. The only negatives were the offsite check in, you could hear the neighbors doors shut every time they closed them and as soon as the sun would rise it became very bright in the condo. They could use a few more curtains. Other than that I would definitely recommend the property.

Great place on Duval

Prime Spot

This was an amazing rental! I stayed here with a group of four for a bachelor party and it couldn’t have been better. Clean, relaxing and enjoyable unit with easy access to all the action. Quiet mornings so you’re not woken up early after a long night! 10/10 would recommend! Also super friendly staff to check in and call if you have any questions!

Bachelorette Weekend

Great location and easy to walk downtown to get a bite to eat or hit the bars. AC was strong and an absolute godsend the weekend we were in town.. also enough space to easily accommodate 5 messy girls with tons of clothes, shoes and decor. Overall, was very pleased with our stay!

Nice place. Would come back.

Property was clean and well located. No noisy neighbors which is obviously good. The ac temperature was restricted at not below 73, which was a comfortable temperature on the main level, or the unit would freeze. However, with the main bedroom on the top level of the unit and with heat rising, the bedroom was not cool enough for our liking. Bottom line, though, we would stay here again. Also, the parking spot was a plus since parking can be scarce in Key West.

Decent property

The overall stay was fine. There was a strong odor coming from the kitchen sink but the property manager promptly came and put bleach down the drain. It got rid of the smell until around the time we left it started to come back. The pullout mattress on the couch was awful, do not plan to use it for anyone. The upstairs beds were nice but the air doesn’t get up there or circulate very well so it’s warm at night, at least in June. Everyone was very friendly & accommodating, we were able to get into our until early which was nice. I expected our balcony to be on Duvall street but it was off the side street instead so that was a bit of a bummer but overall fine. We didn’t spend much time in the unit so overall the minor things were fine.

Clean, cute and comfortable

La Casa Cubana is in a perfect location on the quiet end of Duval Street but still surrounded by places to eat and shop. We had a minor issue one afternoon when the a/c unit stopped working. The property manager came within minutes of calling the office and he fixed the problem very quickly. The apartment was very clean. The loft bedroom with 2 queen beds and the queen sofa bed in the living room gave plenty of sleeping area for our party of 4. The balcony with comfy chairs overlooking Duvall Street was a surprise bonus.

Great location and property.

Enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for getting around without having to drive. The onsite parking allowed us to not have to worry about our vehicle being on the street over an extended period of time. Wish the balcony overlooked Duval.

Keys Trip

The location is perfect to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants. However, the pull out couch needs a new matters. You could fill the springs. And the downstairs door slams really loud. You could hear it slam when the other neighbors would come home. But, the walls are thick so you couldn't hear your neighbors once they entered their room. The place was clean so overall it was a great experiance.

Great place in a quiet area.

With the all Hussle and bustle of Key West, along with all of the parties, bars, food, and music. It is nice too be able to go to a quiet place too rest and rejuvenate for the next day. This is conveniently located across from the famous Rum Bar and La Te Ta as well as the Southernmost marker. Many fantastic places to eat or a grab a cocktail and stroll down Duval. Don't forget to catch a sunset celebration at Mallory Square or if your up to it, catch a sunrise on the other side of the island. If I had to make one suggestion to the management, please fix the lower doors so they do not slam shut. I am hoping this place is available when I return next month in April.

Great Location!

But lots of stairs. One very long flight to the unit then another flight to the bedrooms. Be prepared to haul your suitcases! Only complaint we had was second floor was a bit warm and no screens in the windows to open them. Blinds in the bedroom were broken as well but overall, great stay.

Excellent place to stay on the quiet end of Duval St

Everything was professionally managed from beginning to end. This was our first time visiting Key West and was unsure what to expect, but the accommodations were excellent. We enjoyed being toward the South end of Duval St. (Quieter), but it was a short walk each day to the North end of Duval (livelier). Great place to stay!

Great Location

The location was perfect! The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that there was a note on the thermostat that said you could not turn the air down below 73 or the unit would freeze up. That was not listed on the original booking. Most of our stay was very warm & we could not get it as cold as we would have liked.
