About this property

Located on Calabogie Lake, you can swim, fish, kayak or boat on the lake in summer and we're just 7 min drive from Calabogie Peaks during ski season.

$390/night plus cleaning fee (minimum 2 nights)

Shoulder seasons (mid Sept-mid Dec and April-mid June)

UPSTAIRS:

Dining Room: Beautiful maple dining table with 8 microsuede chairs, table extendable to seat 10 comfortably. Maple buffet with custom artwork.

Living Room: Sliding glass doors offer balcony access & a panoramic view of Calabogie Lake. Relaxed living in sectional couches and arm chairs. Full TV unit with large television with satellite channels, DVD and stereo. Elegant fireplace.

Office/Sitting Room: Office area with desk/chair and wifi. Also, a comfortable sofa/pullout couch (queen size) for extra guests.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with latest appliances. Island peninsula. Casual bench seating with 4 stools. Kitchen table with 6 chairs. 8′ garden doors provide breathtaking view of lake and access to deck.

Master Bedroom: Queen size bed with dresser, night tables and mirror in rich mahogany. Ensuite off master bedroom featuring his and hers vanities & ‘classic’ bathtub. 6 ft sliding doors to deck and breathtaking lake views. Large walk-in closet with built in shelves.

Second Bedroom: Queen size bed, dresser and night table with ensuite. Large mirrored double closet. Large window offers a postcard view of the landscape.

Laundry: Washer and dryer provided. Convenient access from the garage.

DOWNSTAIRS:

Downstairs: TV, Living Room, a large entertaining area with comfortable couches and chairs. TV unit with large television, DVD and satellite. Walkout to patio via the floor to ceiling sliding doors.

Bunk Room (sleeps 6): Large room containing one set of single bunks and a set of twin over double bed. Trundle bed pulls out from under double bunk. Built-in wardrobes and dresser.

Bedroom 4 (sleeps 2): Two single sleighbeds. Night table, dresser and mirror.

Bathroom: 3 piece bathroom with separate connections to bunk room and living area.

Comfortable Roomy House

Very roomy house, more than enough space for everyone. Beds were comfortable with high quality bedding. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need.

Ladies reunion

Great location! Close to Calabogie if you need anything. House is well stocked with all kitchen needs Wonderful view of water. Large entertaining areas with fantastic deck to enjoy the views. Excellent sleeping areas for our group of 10 ladies. Well suited for a large group. Unfortunately we couldn’t locate the safety kits required to go out in the kayak, so we did not use them. Other wise everything was wonderful and we would return

Great stay

We were a large group and we had a great stay. Lots of space for lounging and sleeping. Right on the water which was great for our morning coffees! The inside is super nice, the photos did not do it justice.

Ladies weekend

We were a group of 6 ladies who were coworkers for many years, now in our 40's to 70's. We had a lovely weekend. Other than a short walk, we didn't venture outside much as it rained all weekend but we cooked, played board games and caught up with each other. The place was large and comfortable and most importantly, clean! It was also very well equipped. We would definitely go back.

Excellent for family gatherings

Very good, however a little TLC is required, dump those stained carpets on main level... We were also disappointed that the docks were already pulled. It was a rainy wk-end, but we made the best of it, lots of board & card games. Thank you, all & all a good family wk-end.

Large and spacious home

We were a group of friends in town for a motorsports event the location was perfect and being on the lake was a bonus one friend was able to fish right off the dock in the mornings ... the home is large an spacious lots of room for the 7 of us .... kitchen is fully equipped ...I would have given cleanliness a 5 just the carpets which our in the bedrooms upstairs and office space are quite stained they are white but that didn't effect our stay at all everything else is totally great .... everything we needed!!

Cottage fun!

Beautiful property with lots of outdoor activities. Amazing for big groups. Host was easy to communicate with and always available to answer questions about the property. Had such a fun stay, and hope to come again!

Very nice spot

PROS the view is beautiful the house looks very nice and clean lots of entertainment options kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking necessities property is well maintained CONS deck needs to be cleaned (slippery when wet) barbecue needs to be repaired or replaced some plumbing issues need to be addressed The house is not new and needs a little TLC to work properly but if you are coming for a vacation the pluses beat the minuses

Amazing Stay at Calabogie Heaven

This was our second year staying at the lovely "Calabogie Heaven". Cannot say enough about this property - clean, comfortable and perfect for a large family. The waterfront is amazing and there is so much to do in the area. Highly recommend - will be booking year 3!!

Great place!

Picture don’t do the size of the house justice! There is a large gathering area upstairs as well as downstairs. We were 8 guys and had a ton of room for activities and eating with room to spare. Great level area in the backyard for yard games, and two floating docks to fish and swim!

Awesome Stay!

The house is much larger than the listing makes it out to be. Very spacious and clean. Property is big as well. There is lots of wood and a fire pit close to the water that was a bonus as it wasn't listed as a feature. Only downsides were no body-wash in the bathrooms, lawn was not cut so playing some summer games was awkward, and walking to the fire pit/dock in the morning or evening meant wet feet with the dew staying on the extra long grass and weeds longer than normal. There were no adult life-vests so bring your own if you want to kayak. The sunsets over the lake are instagram worthy and not to be missed!!! I would for sure go stay there again!!!

Awesome time!!

The place was beautiful! Lots of gathering space, for our group of 12 ladies. One thing we could suggest is having a few extra blankets for the rooms, a few of the ladies were cold. The bedrooms are huge, we only used 2/3 of the house! Huge family room we ever made it to! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! ....Lorri

Great stay at Calabogie Heaven

David was a great host and the property was breathtaking. Had a group of 10 guys there for the weekend, and there was a ton of space for us all to sleep comfortably. Due to the cold weather, we spent more time inside than we initially wanted, but again there was tons of space inside for us all to hang out. Communication with David was easy, and he provided us with some key information via VRBO, and the binder that they had inside was very thorough with regards to rules/preferences. Would highly recommend this property to any larger groups looking for a big house with an absolutely breathtaking yard and view. Will definitely be looking to book this place in the future.
