The Lonesome Dove is the perfect cabin for a back woods kind of adventure. Whether you’re a rock climber, hiker, off-road, or just want a weekend to unplugged this is the perfect spot for you. Sit around your fire pit and grill out underneath the massive cliff that sits overhead. If there’s bad weather, there are shelves full of DVDs to watch movies the millennial way.

My wife and I purchased this cabin to use for our weekend getaways to go climbing around the Red River Gorge. We have been climbing in the area for 25+ years and absolutely love the area. We recently started to rent it out to share the wonderful surrounding with others.
Why they chose this property
Once you turn in the corner on our driveway and see the cabin. You understand why we chose this location. It’s an amazing spot that we absolutely love.
What makes this property unique
The cliff out the back door is the stand out feature of the lonesome Dove. During the rainy season, the waterfall is a great bonus. You can sit under the cliff and listen to it for hours. If you’re a climber your experience some of the best routes the area has to offer.
