Celebration of life

Property was ok except for television did not work properly rental company sent a person out but could not fix problem. The next day I called the rental company and left a message but they never returned any calls. I went on about my stay in Palm Springs. If I would have known before I rented this house was managed by McLean I would not have rented the property

Palm Springs Paradise

We loved our stay! Perfect location in an iconic neighborhood, walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. It has great kitchen amenities. The pool was fabulous, with a mountain backdrop. Nice hot tub as well. Overall, a great experience.

Coachella Paradise

We stayed at this location for Coachella, which is just a 5 minute Uber ride from a shuttle stop. The photos accurately depict the home, and provided mostly everything we would need. Home has a keyless entry, so check in was as easy as arriving. Host did not provide shower soaps, laundry detergent, or kitchen spices; but this wasn’t detrimental to our stay. We opted out of the pool heat since it was going to be hot, but I would recommend it since the water was still a little cold. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a beautiful scenic get away!

Great Vibes

Booking was easy and the property manager helped answer questions about the property that helped me make the decision to book. Friends and family joined us for my sisters birthday and it was a great experience overall. Backyard and pool were both amazing!

Beautiful private getaway in sunny Palm Springs

We loved this home - and its neighborhood. Lovely mid-century architecture and decor. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and we enjoyed the pool and backyard immensely. 5 minute drive to town for dining and shopping, about an hour to Joshua Tree National Park. Kitchen and bathrooms could use some updates. We did have an issue with the water heater but it got fixed and, after substantial communication with the property management, we feel we were fairly compensated for the issue.

Beautiful Mountain Views

We had a great time at Las Palmas, the home was a perfect size for our family and friends and only a 5 minute drive from Downtown Palm Springs. The mountain views at sunset were amazing while in the pool. We can't wait to return. Thank you McLean company for hosting us and for the prompt responses.

This property was so much better than we anticipated! It has a hot tub which is not pictured or listed, as well as a large grill which was also not pictured. The rooms are bigger and more updated than the listing shows, and overall it's been very easy to get in/out and interact with the very responsive management. Definitely recommend the stay!

Amazing Property with Event Better Views

We had a great stay at Vista Las Palmas. It truly is one of the best views from a property in Palm Springs. The location is a bit dated. However, the comfort and amenities of the home are top notch. The atrium and floor to ceiling windows on the rear of the house are unique and stunning. This property was perfect for a family getaway. The check in was perfect and the property managers were reachable at all times. A great place for a family stay!

Rough Process

A bit obnoxious to deal with a property management company that was unresponsive and sloppy. Some costs were left off of the original contract agreement then added on later, there was no option to heat the pool until we arrived which was way too late to heat the pool, and no clear direction on what to do for checkout. You have to pick up keys and check in at Property Management sites office, even though there is a key code on the house door. A bit outdated process for 2019. Arrived to the house and the owners were there. One using the bathroom for 15 minutes. Great start. Then they wouldn’t leave! The house itself is interesting but terribly outdated.

The rates listed were much lower than the actual prices.

The propriety is a bit updated and needs some Improvements in the pool areas. Otherwise the location was good and the property management was clear and efficient and very responsive.

Mid-Century Modern

Our annual get together chose Palm Springs this year. The town, food, weather and location were perfect for us. The house was an Alexander and that was a highlight. It was great being outside in the pool with the mountains beyond. We wondered where the unicorn from the photo was. We needed four bedrooms, a central location and a pool. While we got all that, the house was very tired and quiet cluttered; however, it was clean and we spent little time at the house. It was a shame that a mid-century modern house has not been taken better care of and seems to be used only as a rental. I was not pleased to find out there was a $1000 deposit (interest free) on top of all the fees for the house. We were perfect guests, made no messes and left the house exactly as we found it so my deposit should be in the mail. Couldn't get the television to work and the instructions were less than helpful. It didn't matter. We were not interested in anything other than visiting with each other. Not sure who it was...maybe the owner...came to the house one of the nights and wanted to come inside. Only one of us was there and she certainly would not have let him in. It was quite upsetting for her particularly since it was so late at night. Clearly, whoever it was should have called the number the rental agency had on file. I can't imagine anyone thought she would open the door to them. Nice towels and comfortable beds. The rental agency did not tell us the doors were on an alarm system and that caused a minor problem. Some doors we just never used because it was too difficult to get them open without setting off an alarm.

Nice house

Our group enjoyed staying here. It was nice, spacious, quiet, and about a 10-15 minute walk from several restaurants. The only things keeping this from a 5-star rating are that the house could use some general upkeep, the master bathroom shower drain was failing, and you need to make a separate stop by a property management office about a mile away before 5pm when you check-in to get the keys.
