Stay TOGETHER and forget about booking tacky, noisy, dirty, cramped, impersonal hotel rooms with no kitchen, washer/dryer, or outdoor fireplace {how else would you make s'mores?!}. And don't settle on a place out-of-town that forces you to spend half your vacation stuck in the usual heavy traffic commuting to/from Gatlinburg during weekends, summers, holidays, and special events. "It's just not worth the few dollars you may save" we constantly see posted on social media from those who have made this mistake. Time is precious. Waste it wisely.*

Private and peaceful, this enchanting 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom chalet comfortably sleeps 8: 2 KING beds {primary bedroom has plush pillow-top mattress}, 2 bunk beds, and a queen-size sofa bed {mattress pad and foam pad provided} in the living room. Keeping true to its vintage architectural heritage, it provides everything on ONE level with original hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, and exposed beams. The dining table comes with a leaf for expanded seating capacity {2 additional chairs located in bedrooms}. There is a folding card table and benches for even more seating. Also, abundant furniture is staged throughout the 3 decks to enjoy outdoor meals, coffee, and/or cocktails "in the woods". Local grocery and restaurant delivery services are available to all of our valued guests.

The magical Gatlinburg area offers breathtaking natural beauty and endless outdoor adventures. Exploring nearby hiking trails is a particularly delightful escape for many travelers to the Smokies. Our quaint retreat is conveniently nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg near the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the Ober Gatlinburg ski slopes, Dollywood, etc. It is within walking distance to Gatlinburg's famous downtown "strip" with Ripley's Aquarium, Anakeesta, Space Needle, SkyLift Park, popular shops, delicious restaurants, moonshine tasting bars, and various entertainment. There are also trolley stops a short stroll away on East Parkway/Highway 321 that will take you all over, including Rocky Top Sports World and Gatlinburg Community Center. The Center is open year-round and offers many fun, affordable recreation options. This includes a large/heated/indoor swimming pool that is available from June to September. Many guests simply park at the post office and grab a free trolley from there for wherever they want to go.^ Be aware that Gatlinburg is very strict about DUI's and there is NO Uber or Lyft service. The trolley service throughout Gatlinburg is highly advised for all guests wishing to go downtown for moonshine tasting or cocktails and prefer not to walk there.

Wheelchair Accessibility ~ This is a one-story house with no entry or interior stairs to climb. However, the property is NOT officially wheelchair accessible.

Check-in {self, via lock box} can commence on any day of the week, if available, and we do not charge extra for weekends. Check-in time is 4:00 P.M. and check-out time is 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time, OR guest can choose a 6:00 P.M. check-in and a 1:00 P.M. check-out. The later option must be chosen BEFORE the rental agreement is drafted.

HOLIDAY PREMIUMS: We add $50 {$100 if BOTH Christmas Eve or Day & New Year's Eve or Day are included} to EACH night of the reservation if it includes, INCLUDING check-out day, ANY federal {please look up if not sure what they are} or popular holiday. Popular holidays include Valentine's Day {$100 if BOTH Valentine's Day & Washington's Birthday are included}, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's/Father's Day, Halloween, etc. Again, this is for "EACH night of the reservation", NOT just the holidays. The above non-negotiable Holiday Premiums also apply if the reservation is part of a HOLIDAY WEEKEND whether the actual holiday is included or not. Due to software issues here, the posted rates do NOT include Holiday Premiums and are NOT reflected in the itemized total provided at booking.

DISCOUNTS: Our best rates are those posted and are FIRM. As a 5⭐️ rated property, we do not offer any "last minute" deals or specials other than those posted. {No discount is valid if a holiday is included and only 1 discount is allowed per guest; invalid discounts are manually removed prior to reservation being accepted}. However, we do not charge more for weekends like most vacation rentals and hotels do! All rate reduction requests are automatically considered SPAM and blocked/deleted with no reply. Accordingly, we kindly ask all travelers to please respect our very competitive posted rates. Thank you.

^LOCATION: This chalet is located on West Loop Road. For obvious privacy/security/safety reasons, we never disclose the street number to strangers over the Internet. It is, of course, specified on the rental agreement. Please look up distances to points of personal interest {downtown strip, restaurants, shops, attractions, buildings, parks, hiking trails, ski slopes, etc.} from the property's road. We are just not able to provide this type of concierge service, that includes answering questions about the weather, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive. Please note that although the chalet is situated part way up a mountain, it is within Gatlinburg city limits so its PAVED roads get plowed on a regular basis when it snows!

OCCUPANCY: The posted Non-Negotiable 8 Person Maximum that this property sleeps/allows {per strict fire code} obviously includes children of ALL ages. If your group will exceed this limit, you will need to book a different property or book an additional property.

PETS: Dogs Only Allowed {MUST Be Completely House-Broken, Totally Flea-Free, Very Well-Behaved, & Crated When Left Alone If Necessary} ~ Non-Refundable Flat $50 Fee Per Dog. There is No Limit on the Amount of Dogs, the Size of Dogs, the Weight of Dogs, or the Breed of Dogs. Please Disclose if You Will Have a Dog{s} When You Submit Your Initial Inquiry.

LICENSING: We are fully-licensed {current city/county/state license/permit numbers available upon request} and regulated by the State of Tennessee. Additionally, we are fully-insured and inspected annually by the Gatlinburg Fire Department. Always confirm that whatever property you want to rent is legal and properly licensed BEFORE you pay anything. This is for your own protection and will assure that you have a great, hassle-free, and SAFE vacation.
