Wouldn’t recommend until deep cleaned
I have to say the staff was amazing to interact with when I needed help. It was a bit difficult to get in since there’s two different codes you’ll have to locate. Unfortunately we had to leave the next day due to bedbugs found. The house needs to be deep cleaned and fumigate.

Do not rent if riding a motorcycle
Cabin is nice and out by its self we enjoy the stay. If your riding or even pulling a trailor you need to find some where else to rent. The road is a uphill switch back gravel road. The road and surrounding needs to be maintained better.

Although we had a pleasant stay there are few things we wish to share and hopefully leave a constructive input. We have been renting cabins for years, via vrbo or vacasa and this was the first time we apparently picked the wrong place. 1. CABIN SIZE • The cabin is very small, the website description informs that 4 persons can sleep in this cabin, and although there are two bedrooms, the living room on the first-floor level is very tight. Two adults and two medium size dogs can hardly fit in this small cabin. 2. CABIN INTERIOR • There is no dishwasher • Kitchen is very difficult to use as the countertop surfaces are very limited • The dining room table is very small with particularly uncomfortable chairs • The sofa sits 2 dogs and there is no more space for a human. I have been watching TV sitting on the floor throughout my stay 3. CABIN LOCATION • Except of the driveway there is no place to take the shortest walk near the cabin. The driveway leads to an asphalt road. This is certainly not a cabin located in the heart of woods and does not offer much peace, relaxation, nor nature. • The cabin is located near residential houses and we had some residents on Saturday and Sunday discharging the rifles for hours. We have been worried about them killing the wildlife and we still are not sure if that was a sport shooting on a range or hunting. Either way unpleasant, dangerous and certainly not something we wish to be exposed to on vacation. • The cabin has some hornet nests and they were swarming around the house in large numbers. • There is no shaded or covered outdoor sitting (if the hornets allowed) which is a problem on a rainy or sunny day, so there will be no eating breakfast outside. 4. CHECK-IN at 5pm • Although the website informs that check-in time is 4:30pm, which is already extraordinary late, the welcome email that is sent after already paying the reservation requests check-in time at 5pm. That is very inconvenient for people travelling from destinations far away. I have never encounter check-in time at 5pm. 5. HIDDEN FEES • Finally, the most serious problem is that there are hidden fees, namely 99$ pet fee. While searching for the accommodation we used the pet-friendly filter and there was no mentioning of any pet-fees. After paying for the reservation and receiving the welcome email there was also no mentioning of pet fees. However, to obtain the entry code to the cabin we were asked to pay the pet-fee. This is unfair and inelegant, main

Our stay in Robbinsville,NC 7/2020
We all had a great time. The house has a great view of the mountains and it is very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is very cute. It does need some maintenance, but it was clean and comfortable. The driveway is a bit steep. Over all we enjoyed our visit and would come back.

The place was great and just what we were looking for.
Seclusion w/ a view, quite and quaint. Clean with all the necessities. Negs: slow Wi-Fi, home phone needs a new battery / didn’t work and some standing water on the property. Bees are eating the house.

Cosy cabin surrounded by nature and wild flowers
Lovely clean cabin ,blooming daisies everywhere, dreamy mountain backdrop . Kitchen well equipped , but no spices or oil . Lots of games too. Only missing thing on property is no covered patio or porch , it rains a lot in area . We had large tarp stretched on very big pergola in back , so it worked out well . Note to maintenance: both outside doors are very very hard to open and close .

Very nice immaculate property
This house is in excellent shape and well maintained and clean. The outdoor grill, fire pit, washer, dryer and everything was great. Verizon worked on the property which was a plus. Even though they said to bring all soaps and cleaning supplies there was a starter set for all our needs if we hadn't brought them. The review about it being in the middle of nowhere and 45 minutes from anything was wrong. In less than 20 minutes we could be in Robbinsville (Ingles, McDonalds, etc) or go the other direction to Andrews (Ingles, Liquor store, brewpub, other shopping etc.) The yard is small and there is another cabin close by but the property met our every need. The wifi code on the information sheet in the house is wrong but it is the default code on the belkin router which we figured out. I think the battery is dead on the bedroom remote but we could use the living room remote to make it work. The only reason it is not 5 Star is I have to agree with those who thought the beds were really squeaky. The one upstairs needs some cross bars underneath the foundation and they are probably due for an upgrade. I have slept on worse and I have slept on better. Overall we were very happy with the property and thoroughly enjoyed our privacy and stay. Would definitely come back.

Nice cabin. There is a no trespassing gate that you must open!
I have mixed thoughts on this cabin. It is a quaint cabin. There are some views from the deck, but the cabin itself isn't up too high. I actually wanted a pet friendly rental in Bryson City (where we were planning on riding the train) but I couldn't find any decent ones left available on short notice. I wouldn't suggest this cabin if you have similar plans, as it is almost an hour away from Bryson City. There was also a road closure on route 19 due to the wildfires going on, so that was a pain but obviously unforeseen and not a reflection on the cabin itself. We had a very hard time finding the cabin, even in daylight hours. The road that the cabin is on ("Ledbetter Rd") was not labeled that we could tell and as mentioned GPS is unreliable. It also seemed like more than 2/10 of a mile to the cabin once on Ledbetter Rd (what the directions had said). There is a closed gate that reads, "no trespassing" on it at the bottom of the driveway. The cabin is not visible from the driveway, and no one warned us that we would have to open a gate. We felt like we were in the wrong place and felt very uncomfortable opening the gate and driving up the steep unpaved driveway. We have 4 wheel drive so it wasn't as issue for us, but it is rough. There is a sign for the cabin which is off to the right, and we didn't see that right away either. All we saw was a cabin straight ahead with house number "804" and at that point we thought we really were trespassing!! It would have been nice to know we would have to open a gate. I don't normally write reviews but wanted to warn people of the gate because we were given no warning about that. All in all, it is a nice small cabin. Very clean. The beds are really squeaky, so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing I would stay elsewhere. Every time I turned in the bed it squeaked. No problems with satellite tv. The landline phone also rang several times at night, all telemarketers. Not great when you are trying to get away from that stuff at home! I do appreciate the fact that they are pet friendly. I wish more cabin rentals were.

disappointed is no for family, ut good for a honey moon .
If you are interest in getaway from stress and do nothing than: relax, watch tv, and cook. Is ok, but make sure to stop somewhere before get up there and buy all what you need, because you will find nothing than forest and silence. We will give 3 stars just to the Cabin. But this place is far from anywhere. Everything is no less than 45 min. (Towns or Attractions). we not coming back at least to this cabin again. Sorry is in the middle of no where !!

Outstanding retreat for private, top of the world getaway.
Lovely cabin with all the basic amenities, including cast iron pans! Upstairs loft was a cozy nook, downstairs very quaint. No problem with satelllite TV or wifi. Driveway a little rough going up but doable. Definitely recommend this cabin if you want a nice, very clean cabin to be away from it all. Thank you bunches!
