DRIVEWAY
From the start of the driveway to the house is about 0.5 mi. It is gravel and has multiple dips along the path for water drainage. Standard car clearances can make it up without issue, though some smaller/shorter vehicles may scrape (driving slowly will minimize this). Our Subaru has a clearance of 8 inches and does not scrape.

NATURE
As we are surrounded by woods in a remote location, hunting and target practice are not uncommon activities you may hear during your stay. You are also sharing this property with bugs and animals who enjoy these 17 acres of raw land, so don't be surprised if you see some wildlife.

For more information, especially if you choose to explore the national forest, visit the US Forest Service website for specifics on wildlife and forest safety.

TRASH
Housekeeping will collect and dispose of trash, however, there is a trash collection site 1.6 mi down the road at 6471 Zepp Rd if needed. Please place extra full trash bags in bin outside of the kitchen door facing the driveway.

Perfect getaway!
This home was very secluded and had beautiful views. The interior was a perfect mix of historic and modern touches. Hosts were very responsive and we would stay here again!
