About this property

The Vermont Farmhouse.Gorgeous Countryside.Fire Pit.Hiking Trails.Dogs Welcome

The Vermont Farmhouse is a newly renovated historic cottage that brings together a relaxing country setting with easy access to the comforts of town. It is adjacent to a gorgeous 284 acre nature preserve with scenic walking trails. Our local area is rich with outdoor recreation—skiing, hiking, birding, fly fishing & state parks are all within 30 minutes of the front door. Only 3 hours from NYC/Boston & 1 hour from the Albany airport, this is the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate & renew!

Originally constructed in 1860, this classic New England gem has been completely renovated with modern conveniences, while still preserving all of its historic charm. The house seamlessly blends indoors and out, making it a relaxing and inspiring space to unwind and renew. Natural light, vaulted ceilings and hand-hewn beams pair beautifully with a modern kitchen and custom ensuite bathrooms.

The Vermont Farmhouse is adjacent to the Mile Around Woods nature preserve, where guests can explore miles of winding trails and take in its rolling, scenic vistas. It’s also under a mile to the charming village of North Bennington, which has its own coffeehouse, general store, and restaurants. Outside of the village, there is easy access to groceries, retail shopping, restaurants and outdoor recreation, all within 10-30 minutes, in the towns between Bennington and Manchester.
