Welcome to the Pocono Day Break Hideaway – your serene escape nestled in the heart of nature! This bright and cheery home is perfectly appointed for your next family getaway. We know that traveling as a family can be stressful; at this home, we don't just accommodate families and kids; we plan for it! Inside the house, enjoy cozying up by the fireplace, spending time as a family preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, sending the kids upstairs to explore the playroom, or just unwinding in one of the carefully designed rooms.

While the inside of this home is amazing, spending time outside is where this home shines! Situated under twinkling bistro lighting, you'll find a play set, nature path, and firepit. Wander a little deeper into nature and you'll find a spot to spend some time relaxing in a hammock.

In addition to everything you'll find at the home, you'll have access to the amenities provided by the community. During the summer, enjoy exploring three lakes, beaches, playgrounds, and tennis courts. Once the snow starts falling, a local sledding hill will keep the kids entertained.

BATHROOMS
Bathroom 1 - On the first floor, the primary bathroom has a full bath with a shower, toilet, and vanity. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided!
Bathroom 2 - A spa-like bathroom suite off the Master bedroom on the second floor. This room has a shower, toilet, and vanity. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided!

LAUNDRY
Washer and Dryer are provided for guest use in the downstairs laundry closet.

MAIN LIVING SPACE
An open-plan living/dining/kitchen is great for entertaining and spending time together. The 55" Smart TV, upstairs reading balcony, 6-person dining table, ice and filtered water are available in the fridge, microwave, full stove/oven, coffee maker with coffee, cream and sugar are provided along with basic kitchen utensils and cookware.

DECKS
The main deck on the first floor has a picnic table for outdoor dining - a second deck upstairs provides space to relax and unwind in lounge chairs.

YARD
Head into the yard and find an outdoor play area, including a climbing structure for kids, a nature trail, corn hole. and a fire pit. Firewood is not provided but is available at many local stores for purchase.
With the exception of one closet in the master bedroom that is locked, guests will have private access to every area of the home.

The house is located in Locust Lake Village, a private community with three lakes, beaches, playgrounds, tennis courts, sled hill, and chalet, and sponsors weekend events such as BBQs, nature shows, bonfires, and live music - all available to you during your stay.

Smoking: There is absolutely no smoking inside the house. Due to additional cleaning costs, a minimum fine of $500 will be assessed if evidence of smoking is found.

Occupancy: A max occupancy of 8 adults with a total max occupancy of 8 is enforced. This is due to township and local regulations we must follow as a vacation home rental.

Community: It's ok that you love blasting Taylor Swift, no judgment here, as long as it's off before 10 PM! Quiet hours in our community are between 10 PM and 9 AM.

Bunk Beds: The bunk beds have a strict manufacture weight limit of 200 lbs on the top bunk and 200 lbs on the bottom.

Pets: For a $100 per dog, per stay pet fee, dogs are welcome to come! Maximum of 2 dogs per stay. We kindly ask that dogs be kept off the furniture and off the white linens. Please take time to wipe dirty paws with the provided black make-up removal towels before they come inside. Since no one likes stepping in it, please be courteous to our next guests and pick up their poop. :) Unfortunately, we do not allow cats.

Check-in and Check-Out: Unless another agreed-upon time is discussed, check-in is at 4 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m. To ensure each guest has a clean, welcoming space to come into, we request that you honor the check-out time of 11 a.m. Each hour you are at the property after the agreed-upon check-out time will result in a $100 per hour charge.

There are 2 cameras located on the property that record both video and audio. Both cameras look out to the front of the house and driveway.
**If these cameras are covered, tempered with, or if the WiFi router is unplugged during your stay, this will result in immediate cancelation of your reservation and no refund will be given.

From Philly: Take 476 to exit 87 (Lake Harmony) & turn right onto 903. Follow to the T intersection at rt 115, turn left. Cross over I-80 turn right at the Wawa onto 940. Follow for 3.5 miles, Locust Lake Village entrance is on your left.

From NYC: follow I-80 east and take PA exit 293 North. Take the first exit onto 940 West. Follow for 8 miles, Locust Lake Village entrance is on your right.
